I wanted a futon for our guest room so we could use it as a den but also convert it into a bed room when needed for guests. I dislike how most futons need to be a far distance off the wall, so I love the fact that this futon rolls out rather than folds down.

The mattress is quite comfortable and relatively sturdy, so you do not feel the slats beneath you. I also keep a foam mattress topper on top of the mattress and I can still roll up the bed and put the sofa cover on with the topper still on the bed. The mattress also attaches to the frame, so there's no slipping.

The price was also fantastic! With bed, mattress, and sofa cover, it was around $400.
