As a bed frame this was quite nice looking for a decent price. Unfortunately as a king-sized bed frame it does NOT do the job it should. There is a centre support beam, however no support to the ground around this beam. We have had this bed frame for 6 months and one of our king box springs actually cracked. Because of the lack of support our bed manufacturer would not warranty the box spring, and Ikea would not warranty or accept returns on the frame. I might consider it for a smaller bed, but for a king sized, do not waste your money!!
