Illy Dark Roast Espresso

I made the mistake of buying this when I first started making espresso at home, however I use the Medium Roast instead of dark. The mistake was starting with this - it’s so delicious that nothing else compares. I find the dark roast to be a bit too bitter for me, but everyone I know adores it; I just prefer the medium roast for my morning latte. If you ever see this on sale (I’ll occassinally see it for $14 at the grocery store), STOCK UP!!

Great espresso!

I love making this with a stovetop espresso maker. Illy has a rich fresh taste, and it really tastes like a proper Italian coffee. You can use this in a drip coffee maker, no problem.

This is a fabulous change up from your ordinary coffee! It's a beautiful, rich, bold, somewhat sweet espresso coffee! It's great to have when you need a great relaxing pick me up! It comes in a great tin which keeps the espresso coffee fresh. The thin grind makes the perfect espresso! The aroma will fill your home; it's smells amazing! It tastes extremely rich, bold with a hint of what almost seems like to be cocoa. Wonderful espresso coffee!
