Inception (2010) Reviews
#905 in DVD

Description

Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in this sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is the best there is at extraction: stealing valuable secrets inside the subconscious during the mind’s vulnerable dream state. His skill has made him a coveted player in industrial espionage but also has made him a fugitive and cost him dearly. Now he may get a second chance if he can do the impossible: inception, planting an idea rather than stealing one. If they succeed, Cobb and his team could pull off the perfect crime. But no planning or expertise can prepare them for a dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy only Cobb could have seen coming.

This was an interesting movie - really, the more thought you put into it the more it drives you crazy.
The acting was well done and the premise was very avant garde

Inception was a fairly original movie. Very interesting to watch, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again. It's definitely one of those movies you really have to pay attention to in order to figure it all out.

I really really liked this movie. It's different enough from the usual recycled hollywood stories and full of some great actors that don't get out much (exception of course Leonardo Dicaprio). The ending too is quite thought-provoking. In fact, the whole movie is a thinker and I love that. You can let it be just plain entertainment or it can be the start of some great after movie discussions.

I'm not sure if this is one of the all-time greats, but I liked it well enough to go out and buy a copy for my DVD library!
