Not a Primer but similar Affect
I was a bit confused at first as this is not a primer but acts similar as it will give you a matte look. If wearing with makeup apply over foundation - definitely read the instructions beforehand. This cream is white and thick in texture but ends up with a clear consistency. It gave my skin a smoother blurring effect and my fine lines were not as noticeable.
Smooth out fine lines
I like this product because it smooths out the fine lines on my face and around my eyes. It also lessens the depth of the lines from my nose to my mouth. I put it on after my moisturizer. I have tried putting it on over my foundation but it doesn't work for me.
Does not work under a lot of makeup
I had such high hopes for this product when I bought it at shoppers and was even more excited to find out it is produced in my home city of Toronto. Unfortunately, I don’t find it effective. It does not layer well under my foundation. I won’t buy it again.
This is one of the products I don't like to be without. If Applied properly, as a final step in makeup routine (or right before powder) this stuff does wonders at making all those fine lines dissapear. I wish the effect would last all day, but can't expect miracles without surgery. This however is a pretty damn good filler out of the many I've tried.
This has become part of my daily ritual. I apply under my eyes around crows feet. It seems to give it a smoother effect. I find it dries quickly and I don't feel it at all. You need a tiny bit, I bought my tube a year ago, use it daily and am still good for another few months! There is no smell, it dries clear.
I'm not sure if I should recommend this optical diffuser cream. Maybe because I have bad vision, I'm not seeing a lot of difference. I am in their target age range - but I don't have a lot of face wrinkles. I do have some uneven colour and enlarged pores. Nanoblur works on the visibility of pore size and gives me an instant matte finish. I don't like piling on product because that never bodes well for an acne-prone skin, so I bought this about 2 years ago, and have only used it about 4 times. It says use on top of make-up, but the website says you can mix with foundation or moisturizer. What happens if I use a mineral make-up - you shouldn't really apply cream on top of powder. While there are limits to it's effectiveness for me, it's an incredible price for something that works... and will work better and better as I age!
I bought this last week for $19 at the drugstore.
I'm 25 and although I don't suffer from all of the blunders this product claims to cure, my 'enlargened pores' and 'fine wrinkles' did appreciate this stuff, and will continue to appreciate it.
The claim that is shoved in your face on the box is "10 years in 40 seconds" I'm glad that didn't happen. when I was 15 acne was my biggest issue - and I didn't notice that dramatic of a difference.
My pores smoothed over similarly to how they do when I use a facial primer. I plan on using this product to replace my primer for now and am curious to see what 3 or 4 weeks of using it will bring.
