Robert Langdon awakens with no recollection of the past thirty-six hours... WTF! The interesting subject, compelling characterizations, an appealing plot that moves easily from one scene to the next, also remind me of thinking about the world where we live in. What really hit me most is that it also presents some really interesting and deep questions, such as, the future of humanity and a legitimate threat to the species. Only bummer was the spoiler alert from my co-worker... boo!

I love this type of book - fast paced, thought-provoking, intriguingly laced with fact and set in an impossibly beautiful locale. If you've been to Florence, you can picture the dash across the old city and get lost in the intrigue of Dante. Robert Langdon is really off-kilter in this book and it creates a different feel as he fights to put together the chase and his own issues simultaneously. Won't say more and give anything away.

Dan Brown hooked me once again by the magic of his pen (or key pad)..INFERNO was so captivating I could not put it down. This book will remain on my book shelf beside the other mater pieces created by Dan Brown.
If you enjoyed his past work , Inferno will not let you down.
