je me suis procurée cette brosse car je trouvais que l'utilisation du fer plat était ennuyeux / trop long. j'ai réduit d'environ la moitié le temps pour raidir mes cheveux, qui sont très épais et ondulés. c'est aussi facile à utiliser sur l'arrière de la tête, sans miroir, ce qui n'est pas le cas pour moi avec un fer plat.

My hair is straight. Why would I need a straightener? Because my hair is also limp and lacks oomph without some sort of help. It tangles easily, and just looks so boring when not styled.

The Canadian manufactured hair straightener and styler definitely works a bit of magic with my hair.

There are three settings low (180C) for my think hair; medium (190C) for average hair, and high (204C) for thick or naturally wavy hair. The brush heats up in about 30 seconds and is ready to go!

There is no LED reading of the temperature, so you have no choice but low, medium, or high.

There is a small heat mat included to put the brush on while not in use.

Definitely do NOT touch the brush when it is on! You can feel the heat about 6 inches above the bristles, so this tells you how hot it can get!

The brush is soft on my hair while using it – I just separate my hair in small strands, and brush from the bottom upwards until the full length has been brushed through, and work my way around my head. I use clips to keep my unstyled hair out of the way during this process. (they are not included).

The brush, while in use, does make a crackling sound – I am blaming the diamonds? The cord does not get hot and nothing else is weird, so I assume this is normal with this brush.

The cord is of normal thickness and not hair salon grade – but for home use, this is perfectly acceptable.

If you forget to turn off the brush after use, it does have a safety feature of turning off an hour after it has not been used, so if you remember a couple hours after getting to work, you do not have to worry about driving home to check!

As pictured below, you can see that the brush actually made my hair look better and smoother with a quick styling! It literally took me 3 minutes to obtain this look. At 5:30 am, time is definitely of the essence! It even got rid of my funky top hair fizziness.

So overall, with the price point, efficiency, and effectiveness of this hair straightener, I highly recommend giving it a go!
