IOGO Proteine is okay in a pinch, but it's not going to be part of my regular grocery list.
I #GotItFree through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club and I tried the keylime flavour. Flavour is fine (as long as you love lime), yogurt is thick, smooth, and creamy. I will say that I was satisfied after hitting the 3 o'clock wall a couple of days in a row.
But only for about an hour. And then I was STARVING. There is an awful lot of sugar in these little cups, and I think that's why I crashed. I'll stick the IOGO plain Greek yogurt and add my own fruit and nuts as per usual. If I was out and about and starving though, I'd consider picking these up.
Thanks to IOGO and ChickAdvisor for the opportunity to try it for free! I typically do love IOGO products.
I had the chance to try the Iogo Protein chocolate. You have to mix the yogourt with chocolat pieces that are in the bottom. It actually lookseird when you mix all the brown pieces together. It did not look good at all. Thn I started eating it. The taste was blend, I wish it tasted mor like chocolate. Texture was also a bit weird.
I honestly don't understand why you would eat protein in a yogourt, as it is not a meal replacement.
We are big fans of Iogo yogurt, so I was anxious to try this product when I saw it on sale. Unfortunately, its taste is less typical of delicious yogurt and much more like that of a cheap protein bar. If that taste does not bother you, you might very well like this and appreciate the extra appetite controlling protein in it. We however really *really* dislike this taste (which stays with you well after you've finished eating it). I may try using up the remaining cups in smoothies but I am thinking it might even be too noticeable there. Glad I tried but will not buy again.
*Editor's note: Member tried the Black Cherry flavour*
