This brush was a little stiffer than I thought it would be. It works well for smudging out liner on the lower lash line but it also feels like it's a little too stiff for that job. I always feel like I'm going to poke myself in the eye. I prefer using it to do precise outer crease work. It works perfect for that! I think it'd be great for smudging liner on the upper lash line as well but I haven't tried it. Overall I recommend this brush for outer crease work or smoking out a cut crease but not so much for the lower lash line which I was hoping to use it for.
