Wow
Literally just bought this and couldn’t wait to try it. Applies beautifully and lasts all day long. Leaves my skin looking smooth and radiant, less visible pores and texture. Love that it has spf in the formula! I usually use brands like Guerlain and Dior, I must say I love this foundation just as much as I do the others. Does not oxidize on my oily skin after a long day out either. Beautiful formula, close dupe to the Nars soft matte. Highly recommend.
Best coverage
This Illuminating CC Cream is just like the original CC Cream in all its coverage and other properties like SPF50 and anti aging. This product differs in that it leaves skin looking more radiant and illuminated. It doesn't leave skin looking shimmery or glittery but glowing. It basically gives you an allover illuminating glow that completely natural looking. I own both and switch between them depending on what kind of makeup look I want to achieve. This works great for natural makeup. It costs $38 at Sephora and I know they sell it at Ulta and on their website as well. I highly recommend trying this if you haven't already tried the original you can always get a sample to see how you like it!
Fab product, shame about the sparkles
I was actually recommended this product by my mum, who decided to treat herself. Now typically, my mum wears high street (I'm the spoilt one) and I wear Mac. So of course, when she asked if I'd like her to put this on me - it being £30 - I jumped at the chance. It's more of a foundation than Cc - don't be fooled by the understated coverage of this product. It has great coverage, blends well and doesn't fall off my face. I don't set it but it isn't greasy, but has a very natural, almost highlighted glow. The only thing that really erks me is that it was advertised as having no glitter, yet providing illumination. It. Has. Hella. Glitter. Next time, I might buy the original cc to compare.
Not bad
I’m a long time fan of the original CC cream and several weeks ago I got the generous sample of the illumination one. Just fyi, I have a very dry skin. In general, I really liked this version of the CC cream with one exception. It has the noticeable sparkles in in. I didn’t like that, but all in all it’s a great product.
New go-to cc cream!
I was sick and tired of all my habitual cc creams, in addition to becoming recently "pale" (stopped indoor tanning), so all my products were way too dark on me to boot! I did my research, and "it cosmetics" kept popping up as the best in class. Although on the pricier end, I gave it a whirl. It honestly looks more natural and dewy than any cc cream I have tried. Even when my skin is at its worst, it does a superior cover-up job. My only critique is that the shades are darker than they appear (i.e. if you are "medium", go with "light").
Quality products make all the difference, ladies!
Expensive Product but Well Worth the PRice!
I've been using this foundation for years in conjunction with a Sigma Kabuki brush. The result is a full coverage, dewy finish with an airbrushed quality that I get tons of compliments on. I love that there is just a bit of sparkle. You can't see this is most lighting situations, but when you do, it's kind of magical. :-) I feel great wearing it, and, on me, it lasts all day.
Yes, it's expensive, but when I mix it with my Smashbox green primer, it goes a bit further. Plus, my sensitive skin loves it - no breakouts! That makes it worth the money. It's the only foundation I'll use now.
I purchased this item as a showstopper on TSC. It came in an extra large size, and the bundle was such a great value I purchased both the medium and light. As with most IT products, a little goes a long way. I apply with my silisponge, and then blend with my beauty blender. It leave a very smooth, even surface. For me, the illumination is a tiny bit to much, but can be tempered with powder. I absolutely love this product! It
I am absolutely in love with this product. The fact that it has SPF 50 is amazing because I don't like applying sunscreen under my makeup. It has about a medium coverage and has some kind of sparkle in it so your skin is glowing! My skin is dry and it works really well for me but does make me a bit oily so I'm not sure if it would be great for oily skin. It has the consistency of a cc cream, so it is a bit thicker than the average foundation. The ingredients are also pretty clean. Hands down my favourite cc cream so far.
I was really impressed with this product. I love a product that is going to give me a glow, and this product really does that. It is perfect for those days where you dont want to really wear foundation but still want a bit of coverage because it is on the higher coverage side of cc creams, but it is super lightweight, easy to blend and hydrating. It brings back a bit of color to your skin and makes you look radiant and glowing! Best thing is that it also has 50 SPF, so you'll be protecting your skin as well!
