I only used Ivory Snow for my kids laundry when they were babies. I loved the smell of it when it came in the powder but the liquid smells a little bit off. It is such a gentle soap for little onjes skin and it would be the only laundry soap I would use if I had more babies.
although i have no problems with ivory snow, i find that the smell has changed and now it has sort of a fishy smell to it. when i compared the ivory with purex for babies, hands down the purex won for smell. as far as effectiveness goes, both do the trick. no allergic reactions, and got everything clean.
I used this detergent for both my children. It is so gentle on their skin and the smell is so amazing!! I even found myself using it on my clothes because I do have sensitive skin as well and this one never bothered me. The only downside is how pricey it is!!
I love using Ivory on all my delicates...even the ones that are labeled "dry clean only". I find it works well in the delicate cycle and leaves my clothes smelling fabulous. Even gets out any stains I may have had on the clothes....oh it's also good on clothes for those who have sensitive skin like my daughter who has eczema.
Used for all my babies clothes, much easier on their delicate skin.. my youngest still has her clothes washed in it due to her sensitve skin and probably always will..
It's been 3 years and I still use it for their laundry.. I can't help it, just LOVE that fresh "baby" smell.
A little goes a long way.
Ivory Snow baby laundry detergent has bin around for sixty years. My Grandma, my mom and I all used Ivory Snow to wash our babies close and wouldn’t use any thing else. Well at least until they got older, by that time every thing went in together to save time and water. How ever in my opinion when you bring your little bundle of joy home for the first time, the only thing good enough to do your babies wash in is Ivory Snow. It smells wonderful and it leaves all your babies close so soft and clean. Its bin specially formulated to rinse thoroughly out with each wash leaving no residue behind and it contains no harsh chemicals that may bother your baby’s soft skin. Ivory Snow comes in two formulations that you can choose from. Back when my boys where babies they only had the power kind. I found that it would fly every where if you weren’t careful, so if buy this kind be careful not to breath it in. It now comes in a liquid, 25 use, or the larger 65 use and the original powder in a 25 use box. Witch ever you choose I’m sure you will love the way your babies close come out of the wash, so soft and smelling wonderful.
