So Sweet

I tried this out again for the summer, and every time I give it a go I remember what I don't like about it. I love whiskey, I love watermelon slushies.... but this blend is not for me. It's just so bleeping sweet and sugary it's hard to drink. It's much better watering it down with a diet lemon soda, and that's just not what I should have to do. In the same trip I picked up a bottle of this I also grabbed a summery single serve bottle of Skinnygrape spritzer and when comparing the two I see a huge difference, the Skinnygrape is sweetened artificially and is less sweet and brings out the flavours of fruit (loved it), while the JD Watermelon hid the taste of whiskey and ruined the flavour of watermelon by putting what must be a whole cup of sugar in a tiny bottle. I hope I remember not to buy this again... and I wish the Liquor Marts here would offer more summery selection like they have in the States.
