Jamaican black castor oil is an okay product. If you have very dry hair i reccommend it for sure. For people who have hair that gets oily, i highly don't reccommend it because it is very oily and heavy. The product does also have a smell that is strong but since there is mango in it, the smell is better then normal castor oil. A thing good about the product is that it is very healthy for your hair and adds moisture to the hair especially for people with coarse hair. A little goes a long way and it adds great shine to the hair. I usually use it before i straighten my hair but i use a tiny amount and nothing significant because i don't enjoy the smell or the thickness of the oil on my hair
