Hard to apply on yourself
I have a love hate relationship with Jamberry nail wraps. I have had them in the past. They have amazing wraps with adorable patterns. It is however difficult to apply them correctly. When I have done them on myself, they have fallen off my nails within a few days, if not in a single day. It is also difficult to cut them correctly to apply to your own nail. On the other hand, I have had them done by another individual and had them stay on for around a week and a half to two weeks. I do believe it is a matter of having someone to do your nails for you, rather than you on yourself. That definitely makes the difference. If you are looking to do your own, you definitely can, but it will be very difficult. Also, you have to use a heater to seal them on your nails. You can use a blow dryer if you are not looking to to purchase their heater, but personally I gave in and purchased one of their heaters, as doing it with a blow dyer became very awkward.
Not a fan
I tried the wraps recently and really hoped for a positive result, as I love the great colors and patterns available. The precuts didnt quite fit my nails and they were so hard to apply. I had to really be patient and work at it to get them to go on right and even with that they were jagged along the edges and just didnt look right. I really liked the selections available but these wraps are just not for me.
Dislike intensely
The Jamberry wraps are fun to look at..in the package. Forever. These things are not easy to put on and if your nail file isn't good enough then you will end up with jagged patches on your nails that don't look finished properly. Try as I might, I just can't get them all too look nice so I end up ripping them off and going back to nailpolish.
If you have time and patiance this is for you
I have a love hate relationship with this product.
Once you get it on it looks great and lasts for a long time, but is the getting it on that is the problem. It takes time and precision.
You have to cut the strips than apply the heat just right and make sure its nice and smooth. I would have to say thought that the big plus of this product is that it doesn't ruin your nails like the shellac or gel nails do.
If your nails do not tend to chip however than you are better off with nail polish.
What a pain in the butt to put these on It takes 2 people to do this. I had a Jamberry nail party was so excited to get my nails on. It took hours. I didn't have the proper tools. You really need to buy it all the heater and different nail files. that wasn't explained at the party I had. I spent over 120 bucks on the little packages. great colours and styles. but a hassle to put on.
The design selection is amazing, there are so many to choose from. Due to large range of designs, I would recommend this product for a special event as it would be easy to find a design to match your attire (wedding, prom, party etc.). However, applying the product is very tedious and time consuming. Cutting, trimming, filing, and heating. You have to be very patient and precise for this product to look good on your nails. They do last and don't chip unlike regular nail polish. But the time it takes to apply is a major downfall; not something I have time to do on a regular basis.
I love the variety of options but can make it hard to decide at the same time. Overwhelming!! I would only ever recommend them for accent nails. Doing an entire hand is such a long process.
I'm really not talented when it comes to doing my own nails.
I struggle with polish haha and I struggle with the jam berry sheets too.
I find them tricky to get on the nails smoothly and my sizing sucks.
They looked decent when my cousin did it for me. I don't think
I'll purchase them for myself though.
They are nice but I found them too hard on my nails. They took a long time to put on and were expensive. Fun to try bit I wouldn't get them again.
I love the look of these in the catalogue. When I get them home and try them in always let down. They peel up around the edges quickly, no matter how hard I try. And they are not worth the price
