Love this product but didn't suit my skin

This product has a light gel texture, that goes on really easily and doesn't smell like fake tan. I applied to my face and neck overnight and by the morning I had a really nice glow, that didn't look fake. I did this a few times with no problems, but more recently it's made my face red and patchy as soon as I've applied it and I've had to wash it off straight away. It's such a shame because I loved the results I was seeing. I do have sensitive skin but weird that it didn't effect me at first!
