My husband often has a hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep. This stuff works wonders! It actually helps him get a great night of sleep without the use of prescribed sleeping pills.
Well, here's the thing about taking the recommended dose of Melatonin. It'll help you go to sleep on average about 10 minutes faster and only truly help you sleep about 10 minutes longer. The placebo effect actually has more effect than the product itself. I DO NOT recommend the following, without consulting a physician first, but I took up to 3 times the dose and it helped me sleep longer during the one time I had suffered mild insomnia. There are other products to try (natural in stead of this, such as 5HTP, however I'd still do due diligence in research and ask yr physician if possible. As far as a natural safe sleep aid, Melatonin is the best, but not necessarily the most effective.
I had a lot of issues getting back into a (somewhat ) normal sleeping routine once my daughter started sleeping through the night. After nearly two years of only sleeping in two hour bouts, my body would still want to wake up frequently. Melatonin is a great product, because it does help sleep, but unlike many other sleeping remedies or prescription sleeping pills, I was still alert enough to not have to worry about the possibility of being too conked out to not hear my baby
I have always struggled with falling asleep, I'm exhausted, over tired and have a million things running through my mind. Melatonin has always helped with my sleep and for what it does for me it is well worth the price.
Melatonin is a non-addictive sleep aid that works well. I always find that it takes about 20 minutes to kick in but once it does I get a very peaceful and deep sleep. I highly recommend this product!
Best ever natural remedy for those that can't fall asleep. Safe even for children. And it only takes few nights in a row until our body starts creating its own melatonin being given a boost by Jamieson mealtonin pills. Love it because it's not addictive in any way.
This is a very good product, works well but I have found that a Omega3 with vitamin D works better for me and it covers a few other bases too, heart healthy etc. I would still recommend the Jamieson Melatonin time release dual product. It is a very good product, but the Omega3 works better for me.
I have two kinds of insomnia, I have trouble falling asleep, and I have trouble staying asleep. With this new timed release dual action melatonin from Jamieson, I fall asleep eaier and stay asleep.
This product has improved my sleep so much, and improved my quality of life - I can't even explain how much!
