northerners need vitamin D

Living in the north mean less daylight in the winter months so my whole family takes vitamin D. Helps with mood and tiredness too. I always by Jaimeson brand and you can find sales all the time at drug stores and grocery stores. I prefer the dissolving tablets.

New Tangy Orange

I recently noticed a change to the chewable orange Vitamin D. The taste has changed from a semi-sweet taste to a very tangy taste. I myself do not like Sour or Tangy tastes, but if you like those kinds of tastes, it would make a great brand for you to try.

great for winter blues

I take more of this vitamin D in the winter months, when I'm lacking in getting my vitamin D naturally from being in the sunshine. It definitely helps boost my mood.

I have cystic fibrosis so I don't absorb fat soluble vitamins properly (including vitamin D) which means I have to take a lot of it in supplement form to keep my levels in check, This product is high quality and available at an affordable price. I highly recommend.

This product is great to get that vitamin D we need during the winter. I bought this product at Shoppers Drug Mart and ever since taking them I feel like I have more energy to get things done during the day. I am trying to be more health conscious and this is a good start. Love these vitamins.

I was taking 1000 units per day but on the advice of my dr. I have raised it to 2000 units per day. Up here in the north sometimes we don't even see the sun let alone get vitamin D from it.! Great pricing on the one especially if it is on sale.

I have been taking these for approximately five months now. It was recommended by my arthritic specialist to take five (5,000 IU) each and every day for pain. They are very easy to swallow because they are so small (gelcaps). They have no unpleasant after-taste. I am not certain if they are actually working to assist with the maintenance of pain symptoms. I guess I need to give it so more time.

I think everyone needs more Vitamin D especially in the winter months! Especially in Newfoundland! lol!

I bought a huge bottle of Vitamin D from Costco in the fall. I like to take one every day during the fall and winter, I find that its very helpful where I'm not getting any vitamin D from the sun.
