This cream works right away. There are 3 different shades, usually if I don't have a base I will use the lightest cream and it will show up the next day. Works great just remember to rub it in well so avoid streaks or darker spots.
Jergens Natural Glow is a good quality moisturizer. It rubs into your skin and doesn't leave an oily feeling. I bought a small tube the first time I tried it and now will be looking for a larger size tube when it comes on sale.Jergens has made good products for many years.
I tried this and I didn't really like it, it leaves noticeable streaks even if I don't put a lot on and it turned me a lite orange ting
This is great for a gradual self tanner. It does not make you orange and it doesn't make you crazy dark right away.
Yes, it really works! I love Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. As someone who has fair skin and burns almost immediately in the sun, I am always naturally white enough to blind people in the summer if they don't have their sunglasses on. It's downright embarrassing. Last summer, after reading many reviews from real women about sunless tanning (and adamant I would never use a tanning bed), I decided to give Jergens a go. I have never looked back! I applied the moisturizer at night before bed and again the following morning (it was my day off) and noticed my skin beginning to take on the colour within a day and a half. After that, I only applied it all over before I went to bed because I did notice a bit of a smell (not horrible, just slightly chemically, maybe?) as the moisturizer developed the colour. Don't worry, though, the smell is washed away as soon as you shower, but the colour results stay!
I buy it in the medium to tan shade and it really does give my skin this beautiful, natural, healthy-looking glow. Also, it's great knowing I'm not damaging my skin or risking my health with dangerous UV ray exposure.
Two things I should recommend:
1) You really do need to exfoliate very well in the shower or bath before the first time you use the moisturizer. This ensures an even colour (the last thing you want is a blotchy, obviously fake look). Also I good idea to exfoliate each time before you use it – but maybe not as vigorously as the first time – just to maintain a natural, even look.
2) Be delicate when applying around knees, elbows and ankles/feet. These areas of your skin are drying and absorb the colour very quickly. Nobody wants a nicely tanned body with goofy pumpkin orange feet! Apply the moisturizer in these areas sparingly. (If you need more moisture, top it up with a regular one that doesn't tan).
I recently purchased it and really love the outcome! My skin appears to have even tone with a hint of tan look, which is what I was looking for! Plus, it keeps your skin moisturized.
I go for spray tans as a dancer and this helps keep it going in between sessions. I remember using this a long time ago and it was really orange but now they have totally improved it. Boyfriend isn't a big fan of the smell, I don't mind it. My toes and knuckles go orange but overall a good color.
