Love It!
Peanut Butter is part of my daily breakfast on toast. I like both smooth and crunchy, but crunchy is my favourite! Jif is very concentrated with big chunks of peanuts mixed in and is very delicious.
You get a mouthful of peanuts in every bite! It is just the right flavour, not too sweet. It doesn’t have any artificial sugars in it, I can taste it right away and I wouldn’t be eating it again if it did. Jif has a very natural taste to it, it’s what I like about it. It also comes in on the go packs, a small pack of peanut butter for lunches, trips etc. I also use Jif on crackers, sometimes for a lunch at work for something different! This is my favourite peanut butter of all brands. The crunchy is a new edition to Jif, I knew I had to try it and I love it! It is very reasonably priced and can be found in most grocery stores or Walmart stores.
Where's the nuts???
What is going on with these big companies? Not making enough I suppose so they have to cut down on the main ingredient..PEANUTS! This is the third jar I bought before I said enough! (Takes me a while to learn I guess)
Not the best
If you have had Kraft peanut butter - you will not like this. It is very bland, as though it needs salt. And it tastes of oil. it is cheaper - but not the better choice.
A bit too sweet for my taste bud
I love peanut butter and when I heard that JIF is the best selling peanut butter in the States, I decided to try. This peanut butter is very creamy and easy to spread. I also love that it contains so many peanuts. However, it is a bit too sweet for my taste buds.
Decadent and Rich Peanut Butter- Worth Extra Price
I bought a 500 g container of this peanut butter at Loblaws for $3.99, making it a bit more expensive than some other peanut butters available on the market. I wanted to give it a try as I've heard great things. Jif peanut butter just recently came back to Canadian stores in 2017, after being discontinued in 2010, because of popular demand by consumers.
I'm a fan of peanut butter sandwiches for lunch, which I have at least once a week, and love to try different peanut butter brands to see which ones I prefer. This has plenty of roasted peanuts throughout, for a nice added textural crunch. The roasted peanuts are comparable to those in Planters peanut butter. The peanut butter itself is thick and smooth. It is a sweetened peanut butter, so there is a nice sweetness to it. It uses molasses, which adds a bit of an extra kick and different flavour profile to most other peanut butters. There is an almost dessert-like sweetness to it without it being overly sweet or compromising the peanut taste. Each serving of approximately 1 tablespoon is 90 calories, in line with most other peanut butters.
