This DVD definitely kicks your butt at first! I had always done cardio on a regular basis but I could definitely feel the burn doing this DVD.
Jillian keeps you motivated throughout the workout and after doing it for even just a few days, you feel the moves becoming easier. I bought this on Amazon and it was worth every penny. The first time around I lost 9 pounds in a month combined with healthy eating.
You want to make sure you have an adequate amount of room to do the exercises and have a pair of handweights. I started with 3lbs and worked up to 5lbs.
This workout kicks my butt everytime.
Jillian Michaels, the "mean" trainer from The Biggest Loser, takes you through 3 different 20 minute workouts. There's three levels and you really do need to get comfortable with level one before moving onto level 2 (made that mistake once).
Each workout combines cardio with strength training, so you'll need some handweights. There's some ab work in there as well. Not as much of a cool down/stretching as I would like, but I just do my own after the workout's done.
Even though these are only 20 minute workouts, they're hard! Lunges, jumping jacks, squats. I feel this more than spending an hour at the gym.
