I received this as a gift from my boyfriend he stepped out of the box on this one I loved it i actually received 4 bottles and some other items which I loved ..the scent is do relaxing I put the oil on then the perfume makes my car smell amazing on my commute to work.

As the Jo Malone website describes it: "Through a blend of mandarin, sacred lotus blossom, bamboo and aloeswood, Lotus Blossom & Water Lily will encourage energy, inspire confidence and focus the mind, making it a perfect scent to use throughout the day."

I like more floral and fruity scents, and this fragrance puts me on the fence. Though the scent of the lotus blossom and water lily to shine through, it is overpowered by a strong woody scent that I'm not sure I quite appreciate. It is a very complex aroma that is unique and a treasure, but I still prefer my straight floral perfumes.

Great for both day and evening wear.
