Best for curly hair... with a natural glow
It’s taken me almost 36 years to find the best products for my hair!!! This is amazing. Who knew salt and water!! It creates a wave and not a curl which I like better. I like a natural look. After out of the shower I towel dry my hair and then spray this thruout and then put hair back up in the towel! For about 10-15 mins!! Hair comes out looking like you left the beach!! I love it! I buy 1-2 a month!!
Helps control the curl
So all last summer the major humidity made my hair a huge curly, frizzy mess. This spray turned the disaster into really amazing beachy waves. I was in love! Now that it is not so humid, but rather cold, it isn't working quite the same for me as my hair isn't getting the same big curl. So I'd say this is recommended more for people with natural curls that need some help rather than anyone who wants to make their hair more curly.
Beach waves
I absolutely love John freda products :) I have very thick long wavy hair and this brings out the summer beach waves for sure. Love wearing this product when I go away to the cottage or enjoy a day on the beach.
Great for Beachy Waves, Smells Great too
I received it in a goodie bag from an event, and absolutely love it!
I started to notice my hair was getting really damaged from repeated hot styling tools over the years, and getting worse as I get older and my hair changes and starting to get some grey hair. I wanted a solution that tamed my unruly frizzy hair (curly in some spots, wavy in others, and complete frizz too). When diluted a bit, this creates natural looking beachy waves, without major frizz, oiliness, or making it crunchy looking/feeling. Watering it down [with distilled water] also makes the product last much longer as the price is a bit steep for a drug store product.
It smells great too, as long as you like coconut. Even though the bottle suggests it's a product geared for blonds, you can use it on any hair color -my hair is a medium auburn and always gives me soft waves pretty waves with no added weight.
This gem is still amazing !
I started using this product in high school ! 2002-2005! And back then it had an oily layer that separated from the rest . It’s now a better improved formula that doesn’t make my hair greasy but gives me beautiful tousled waves! My only issue is that it’s like 15 dollars for drugstore bottle that isn’t super huge so I go through it quick but I just love the end results !! It smells like coconut also! Yummy !
Doesn't work
I do not think I have tried a John Frieda product that I really like. This was no exception. This sea salt spray is supposed to Create natural waves. I did not find that this happened with my hair. It just made it look stringy.
Beachin' it at home
I love this product! It is a convenient spray to use fresh out of the shower with still-wet hair. It smells amazing and doesn't dry out your hair.
It's quick and easy to use at just the roots for volume, or all over for a full head of waves.
For quick results you can use a blow dryer after- scrunching your hair, or just spray and leave it in for very easy hair styling that looks like a lot more effort!
John Frieda Beach Blonde Salt Spray
I love the John Frieda Beach Blonde Salt Spray! I am brunette but use it anyways. I like to spray it on my hair when it is wet and it gives me a great beach style without using heat tools or any other products. It smells super good too
Great for beachy wavy hair days
Works better on dry hair. For my thicker hair I sprayed it in and twisted sections of my hair to get really nice beachy waves. The salt makes your hair have an awful texture but thats expected with salt sprays in general. Had a nice scent, not too overpowering.
Good product for the summer
I love its smell of sweet coconut, vanilla and beach that is the best for summer.
I really like this sea salt spray it’s a good product, it gives me a very nice texture of natural waves style, it leaves my hair very soft and easy to comb with my fingers.
