For some reason, this particular line of shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda really impressed me (especially the conditioner.) My hair was noticeably smooth and soft after a wash with minimal tangling. The conditioner is rich and did not require much to work into the hair. The scent is nice too.
I have been using it on non treated dark hair, so I have not really noticed any changes to my hair colour while using the line. It does not appear to deposit any colour to the hair, so it may just be used to prevent hair colour loss.
I have used John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner a lot in the past, and I just recently tried the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Multi-Tone Revealing Moisturising Shampoo and Conditioner. I wasn't sure if I would notice any difference from the moisturizing, to the multi tonal line. And so far I have not. I haven't used it for long so maybe there will be some change.
But I do really like the smell and I noticed the shampoo really moisturized my hair, more than any normal shampoo.
All in all John Frieda Brilliant Brunette line does work really well in amping up your already brown/dark hair. I really helps if your color looks washed out.
This shampoo/conditioner smells amazing. I don't buy it often because it is rather expensive but it feels like a treat when I do. It makes my hair shiny and doesn't weigh it down.
I really like this product. For a long time I was buying it but I have super long hair and was running out of conditioner a lot. If you take into consideration the size of the tubes and the price, it is actually expensive. I would rather buy higher end for that kindof money.
I just tried the shampoo and conditioner I really like them however they didn't add much volume even with blow drying but it was much easier to brush my hair after and my hair feels nice
Used this when I had my natural hair colour (brown) before dying it blonde and it turned my brown hair green. And before the blonde now I had never dyed my hair so I know it wasn't from previous colour. Really crappy product.
A good shampoo to help amp up your natural brunette haircolor. It made my hair look shiny as well. The conditioner was a little too heavy for my fine hair, so I used half the amount I usually put in. It's an okay set, but not one I consistently go back to.
This is the main shampoo I use. It's a high quality product that makes me hair look and feel really healthy and vibrant. It's certainly not the lowest priced shampoo on the shelf, but it's well worth it - or to look for it on sale.
I recently tried this when my stylist cut my hair and shampooed it. I was surprised at the after effects of my hair. It looked as if she had put highlights in. I wanted to buy the set and asked how much it was. Boy, was I floored. I told her I had to wait. That stuff is expensive.
