Beautiful, cool-tone brown hair

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Deeper Colour Deepening Treatment eliminated the washed-out warm gold-tone of my coloured hair and gave it a beautiful, cool-tone brown after five minutes of keeping it on the hair and then rinsing. The bottle lasted me two applications, because my hair is long. I would recommend using gloves before applying to the hair, as it does stain skin.

Really dose what says on the time I have quite damaged hair that’s been dye multiple times this treatment reall dose restore it I like to use it regularly one or twice a month to give my hair some life definitely recommend this to my friends

This deepening colour treatment is pretty stellar!

With only a few washes, and leaving it on for 5 minutes after using the matching shampoo, my hair colour is definitely a deeper shade of brown. AND it didn't cover up my blonde and light brown highlights that I had done earlier this month.

I am not sure about the science behind it (that results in not covering highlights), but it works!

This is a great alternative to going to the hairdresser when my hair starts losing its lustre. Although not a replacement for hair colour, it enhanced my colour in amazing deep ways.

My only complaint is - my hair is fine and long, tangling easily. The first two times I used this treatment, I piled my hair on top of my head (like normal), and my hair took 10 minutes to comb out WITH a high end detangler. It was painful and awful. Once I realized I needed to just let my hair stay straight and unpiled during the process, it no longer tangles, pending I don't use my towel too quickly and pat it dry vs a vigorous scrubbing.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the results!

After trying the visibly deeper colour deepening shampoo & conditioner I desire to try going another shade darker by trying the colour deepening treatment. When you pour it in your hand it looks much like a hair dye in the richness of the colour but feels like a conditioner. I left it on for the recommend 5 minutes for the first try and it works like a charmM my hair did indeed go one shade darker and I love it! It does not say anywhere on the bottle how often you should use it but it did mention that you could try 10 minutes for the ultimate deep shade. 5 minutes worked for me but I may get adventurous and try it for longer next time to see how it goes? I like how it Iooks natural and although I see the difference in a positive way nobody else in my family has noticed it! The true test will be when I meet up with friendsM

Takes two treatments to really notive it was a bit darker. Great solution to lightened hair when it becomes too light. Richer and softer hair. Leave on awhile if you want it to deposit more color
