I received samples in the mail of this product I've 'been using it for 3 days now along with the conditioner make a lot of lather I love the scent leaving my hair feeling so clean smooth soft to the touch and so manageable
I could feel a difference on my naturally curly dry frizzy hair just after one use I would recommend this product to anyone

This deepening shampoo is pretty effective along with the 3 step Deepening Collection process!

Avery small amount of this thin Shampoo is required to cover all of my hair nicely. It suds up quite nicely, and makes my hair feel clean.

I am not sure about the science behind it that results in not covering highlights, but it works!

There is no real determinable scent, and definitely nothing like normal hair dye from the box (i.e. my eyes don't burn).

This is a great alternative to going to the hairdresser when my hair starts losing its lustre. Although not a replacement for hair colour, it enhanced my colour in amazing deep ways.

My only complaint is - my hair is fine and long, tangling easily. The first two times I used this conditioner, I piled my hair on top of my head (like normal), and my hair took 10 minutes to comb out WITH a high end detangler. It was painful and awful. Once I realized I needed to just let my hair stay straight and unpiled during the process, it no longer tangles, pending I don't use my towel too quickly and pat it dry vs a vigorous scrubbing.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the results!

I Love this product! I have very thick, & very long brown hair, it's a pain to dye, not to mention quite expensive. I love that this product helps add a touch of colour between dyes, the smell is amazing & it leaves my hair feeling smooth and manageable.
I was skeptical using this product as I have used another brunette colouring shampoo/conditioner from a major salon, after using said product, my hands were so stained I couldn't get my cuticles clean for days. (Which looks so bad!) I was pleasantly surprised that BRILLIANT BRUNETTE® VISIBLY DEEPER® COLOUR DEEPENING TREATMENT had zero stain on my hands! Major bonus!

Love this product! I live in the country and have hard water. I find a lot of shampoos and conditioners make my hair quite dry. Hard to brush. I find this product to be quite moisturizing. My hair is so soft. Easy to care for. Also, I find that it holds my hair colour longer. I don't have to colour my roots as often. This product also has a very nice fragrance to it. I love how manageable and shiny my hair is using John Frieda brilliant brunette visibly deeper shampoo and conditioner. I also recommend the John Frieda brilliant brunette visibly deeper colour deepening treatment for added colour protection.

J' ai essayer ce produit et j' ai laissé agir 5 minutes comme indiqué , mes cheveux était doux et lisse par la suite mais je n'ai pas trouvé mes cheveux vraiment plus foncés mais puisque cétait gratuit cétait amusant de l' essayer

I received samples of the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Deeper Shampoo and Conditioner from My Voice in exchange for an honest review.

The shampoo was tinted and had a floral scent. The scent did not remain in my hair for long so this may be a good choice for people who are bothered by strong scents. It lathered nicely and rinsed out easily.


After drying my hair, I noticed that my hair had a slightly darker tint to it. After just one use, I'm pretty impressed. I normally have an oily scalp and dry hair, I found that my scalp was not as oily as usual on the second day and my ends were nicely hydrated. My hair was soft and manageable. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and may buy the full size.

I just bought this last week and I love it! I have a medium brown hair. It is okay but I wanted to add a it a depth to the colour without the commitment of getting it dyed. This did the trick! The bottle says that it will deepen your colour by about one shade which for me was exactly what I Was looking for. The price was right around $6 on sale not sure the regular price It left my hair feeling smooth & silky and completely manageable. I also purchased the conditioner & treatment. I am in love with this product! It did exactly as promised to my satisfaction and for a great price-can't beat that!

I purchased this shampoo to try and see if I could deepen my hair without having to dye it. I have to say within two days of using the shampoo by hair was already noticeably darker. The shampoo itself smells great and leaves my hair feeling great. It does not dry out my hair or make it feel greasy. I grabbed this product on sale and it was worth every penny.
