My hair was a bit lank
I've had a love-hate relationship with Frizz-Ease in the past, I like some of their products and not others, so I keep trying. In this case, I don't feel this line was right for me. I have thick hair with a natural wave and though my hair did feel soft after using it, I also felt like it was quite lank and lifeless. To that end, I don't recommend this for those with naturally wavy hair or curls. It also promises frizz reduction, which it mostly seemed to achieve by flattening my hair, but by the next day the frizz was back. I don't mind a bit of frizz (it's my hair type that's so prone to it), but I prefer something that doesn't leave my hair so sad looking, so I probably wouldn't use it again.
However, if you have long straight hair and wash daily, this might work a bit better for you. I didn't mind the smell of the shampoo which had a medium strength perfumed smell. As in, it smelled like a generic ladies perfume, but wasn't too strong. I used it alongside the conditioner.
I got this as a sample. It's not my favorite John Freida product. I usually use the volume shampoo and conditioner, which I prefer to this. There's nothing wrong with it, but it didn't "wow" me.
JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ EASE MIRACULOUS RECOVERY REPAIRING SHAMPOO;
I give it an average rating
Received as a sample and tried out
Lately the John Frieda collections of frizz ease product have been disappointing...
This one was average, okay...
Pros:
Good scent
Improved scent in the shower that lasted long after also on the hair
Contains amino complex
Did reduce frizz on hair did make it softer in touch
Cons:
Made it look heavy, though hair was soft to touch, it looked heavy weighed down
DId not make my hair feel clean after wards
Hair was not lathering up in the shower as other shampoos do.
It is average, I would use again ONLY if the product was free....
