Did not work for me

I have very dry frizzy hair. Someone suggested i try this when my hair is still wet, before air drying or blow drying. I did not find it to be that effective. However my husband enjoyed it for his beard.

This product really does smooth out hair although I'm not sure how well it combats frizz. I've never needed to use it for that but I'm pleased with the smoothing factor of the serum. I have really long hair and only need to use one (maybe two) pumps to work it throughout my hair. That being said, I also have thin and fine hair so use varies per person. It has a decent smell and isn't too oily (it washes off your hands relatively easily) all while lasting until the next wash. I got this as a gift from someone, however, and I would never pay its worth just to possess this again. For what it does I'm happy, but for what it costs I'm not. It's not a regular use product for me, though - just on occasion - so if you're the kind of person who uses products like this then maybe it's just the right one for you.

This is a standard silicone based hair serum that works fine to keep the flyaway hair down with a small drop. It is not as effective in the wintertime, as it just does not provide enough moisture to keep the static from developing on the hair. The scent is the usual John Frieda chemical fragrance, which I am not a fan of, and tends to be a little overpowering. There are better options out there for taming wild hair.

I don't know why, but John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum did not work well for me. When I applied it to my hair ends (fine hair), it quickly made me look like a drowned rat. My hair which had just been shampooed and blow dried suddenly looked greasy again. I had used only a little bit rubbed on the palms of my hands and smoothed it carefully over any flyaway hairs on the outer part of my hair. But it just didn't work well. Won't be using it again.

I have tried other better products.
I find the quality of frizz ease has went down over the last decade....it is not the same.

I find it does not hold back as much frizz as before. It is too heavy on the hair, actually some times, with certain styles I find it makes the hair look worse than without the product....

I do like this product for eleminating frizz but i am not overly impressed. I find that my hair is so thick that it just does not work the best for me..

I don't like it...I don't know what the hype is...I find my hair more limp / oily / flat after using the product.
I find other products are better than this frizz ease.

I like John Frieda other products "blonde hair, volume hair" line...but the frizz ease collection, I don't know I don't see what the hype is about.

I don't even like the scent of the product.

In my opinion, I like other frizz control products out there instead of this one.

I use the Forever Smooth collection (shampoo, conditioner, primer) from John Frieda's Frizz Ease line. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I love it! Especially when there is humidity in the air, my hair stays sleek and non greasy looking; no frizz! The scent is fine, it smells like you just left the salon.

There are better frizz ease-rs out there. For example, Garnier's damager eraser is much better. Not only is it superior, it is much cheaper (as it is always on sale). So, I would recommend that over this product. Although I liked this product ok, I would not repurchase or recommend this to anyone else
