John Frieda Hydrate & Recharge Shampoo

I have been using the whole range for a few days and I've already noticed change in the way my hair looks. My hair is silky and smooth. It feels more hydrated, and you even notice it when under the shower. I really like the uniqueness of this product; the colour is different. I love this shade of blue.
Its ergonomics makes my life simpler, it is well designed with users in mind. It is easier to grab. The bottle comes with a flip lid which is easier to have control on how much shampoo to dispense. So, no waste!

The texture of the shampoo is spot on, not too thick or runny and I do not need a lot. It washes well and there is no residue left on the hair. So my hair is light and smooth. I really love its scent too and it lingers throughout the day.

I have had nice comments on the way my hair looks and smells. I have recommended it around me. John Frieda is the best!

Amazing shampoo

I love the packaging, the colour of the bottle is unique and stands out immediately. The flip lid is a plus,makes dispensing it much easier.
I absolutely love the fragrance of the whole range, I could smell it all day!
The shampoo is not too thick and not too runny and it lathers up very well.
It's not all heavy on your hair and scalp like some hydrating shampoos and washes out very easily with no leftover residue.
I felt the effects immediately after the first use and my hair feels so hydrated, very soft more manageable and in great condition - just what my hair needed!

This range promises to quench thirsty and lifeless hair with an infusion of nutrient rich drops which includes keratin and monoi oil ( which is from Tiare flower) .
First the packaging , I like the different style if bottle as they are a lot easier to use when you have soapy slippery hands!
The conditioner does not have a thick texture that I usually like with my conditioners and I felt as though I had to use more than I usually do . After leaving on for a few minutes , I washed and was surprised by how soft my hair felt straight away.
Overall I love this range and after using I found my hair more manageable and it had a lot more volume too !

Noticeable difference from first use!

I tried this product for free as part of the product review club.

I was super excited to try this range because my hair has been super dry since I moved back to the UK a couple of months ago.

The first product I tried was this shampoo on its own and I noticed after just one use that my hair was significantly softer. I would definitely recommend this!

Shampoo

My first thoughts were that this shampoo smells amazing it’s like a clean sweet floral scent not too over whelming but you can still smell it on your hair slightly after you rinse it all off which I like as who doesn’t like their hair smelling amazing!

The bottle is a good size, not too big that it takes up half your bathroom but not too small that the product runs out too fast. It’s also a cute baby blue colour which funilly enough matches my bathroom which I love too.

It made my hair feel super clean and fresh after I washed it out it didn’t feel like it left any greasy film behind on your hair like some drugstore shampoos can do and it didn’t feel too knotty in my hair either.

I’ve tried a lot of John Frieda shampoos and over the years I feel like they have been nailing their formulas more recently as I have been loving the violet shampoo they do for blonde hair, I quite like this shampoo it does the job however it doesn’t completely wow me I’ve tried more interesting and more hydrating shampoos in the past which work better and for the same price range too.

After styling my hair (straightening it, I let it naturally dry) it felt healthy and shiny and didn’t look dry or frizzy which is great as my hair can go curly straight after styling due to humidity however 3 days later and my hair is still straight which is amazing.

Overall it was a nice shampoo and I will continue to use the bottle however I probably won’t buy it again as it didn’t give me too much wow factor and didn’t do a lot for my hair.

Decent product

Always finding my hair gets left dry and feeling un nourished in a day or so of using other shampoos but not with this product! My hair smells and looks amazing all the time! The packaging itself is 'individual' it stands out on the shelf and looks a gorgeous aqua blue colour I love it! With my hair being so long I was concerned that I would need Alot of this shampoo but was pleasantly surprised I only needed a small amount for full coverage!

Absolutely beautiful smell and leaves hair soft like a dream

I think I am getting addicted to this shampoo. It smells absolutely beautiful...with richness of different nourishing oil like argan oil, it just leaves my hair soft, silky, moisturized and tangle free. It lathers well and gives a very relaxing effect while shampooing. This complete range of hydrate and recharge with the conditioner and masque is doing wonders to my long hair. It just leaves my hair soft full of life and smelling fresh. I cannot wait to repurchase it and highly recommend this range!!

good for me

With shampoo is a strange thing - it is suitable for your hair or not. This John Frieda seems is good for me because fair is smooth and looks good all day. I have to wash my hair everyday so this shampoo is not an examption and the next day my roots are oily.
Overal experience is nice for me, not the best one of course, but still very good. 8 points from 10.
Would recommend.

Bye bye dry hair

I have always rated John Frieda products highly and this range is up there with the rest of them. The shampoo bottle itself has a design like no other and the eye catching colour would stand out on any shelf. I have dry brittle hair and do find it gets greasy at the roots pretty quickly. This shampoo is brilliant, I have long hair but only needed a small amount for it to create an amazing fresh smelling foam that lathers up in seconds. My hair feels so soomth and hydrated even after first use. My hair stays fresh and the long-lasting scent is beautiful. I will 100% be stocking up on this along with the rest of the range. Couldn't recommend this enough. Dry hair gone and hydrated locks are here to stay.
