Really does add volume

This isn't a product I would normally have bought, being above my usuaI price range but I was given a travel pack which included this shampoo. I didn't really expect much but as my hair is so fine and limp but felt I had nothing to lose. I was astounded how much difference it made and how it noticeably added volume to my hair. I now rarely buy any other brand

Lovely product

Wouldn't be without this product now, been using for several months and adds volume every time. Best hair product buy for me in a long time. I have short fine hair & this definitely makes a big difference.

Volume me crazy

I have flat hair because my hair is fine. This product is a life changer for me and I use it regularly! Love it and def recommend it in a heart beat. I had already purchased a couple and told my sisters about it

I love it and would buy again

It makes your hair so soft and the added volume was very good. I have tried many different shampoos before but this is the best one yet in its price range.

makes a significant difference

This shampoo lathers well and effectively cleanses my hair without leaving it dry. It took a few days for the volumising effects to become apparent but it makes a significant difference to how my fine hair looks and feels.

Luxury Hair Care

The John Frieda Shampoo comes in a 250ml aquamarine/black flip top tube and is easy to open. The first thing I did was sniff the scent and I thought it pleasant with a floral/fruity aroma but I was not sure exactly what the fragrance was and when I looked at the ingredients I was disappointed to see only chemicals listed and no flower or fruit extracts named. The packaging states it ' Strengthens fine hair to maximise volume & vitality... with Protein-Strength complex, brings protein-deficient hair into balance by unlocking a new level of volume.' I was keen to try this as I have very fine hair and I have tried other volumising products with varying levels of success in the past. My experience with the product, is that the shampoo is a good consistency, not too runny and is easy to apply. It produced a good lather and washed out easily. I did then go on to use the conditioner and volumiser so the end result was a combination of using the 3 products. After the first time of use I was pleased with the result which definitely increased my hair's volume and made it look thicker and stronger. I did think my hair was less shiny than usual but I have found this can be a trade off when trying to achieve volume so was willing to live with it. However, when I used the products for the second time, I finished off with a paddle brush and cold blast and this did make my hair shine more. I am very pleased with the shampoo and will continue to use it.

Looks, Feels and Smells Great

I tried this conditioner on the recommendation of a friend and I was pleasantly surprised! It leaves my hair feeling clean, smooth and it smells amazing! This is a product that I’ll keep using.

Great shampoo

It was my first time using John Freida's product . I've read many reviews and decided to give it a try. I like the tube instead of bottle as it is easier to keep it in the limited space in the shower.
The shampoo smells very good and has a thick but not too much texture. It cleans hair and rinses out easily.
It actually visually added volume to my hair. My hair is not too fine, but I love the results. It is a bit expensive for 250ml tube, but I would definitely like trying other John Frieda products.

Worth it totally

It adds volume and shine to my hair. Only volumizing shampoo I have ever tried that actually helps with volume. It definitely makes my hair look thicker and gives the impression of more volume. I really like how my hair feels once I use this shampoo.

Hair type: Short, naturally wavy, greying/aging hair, brunette. Prone to greasy roots and drier ends.

Cannot say enough good things about this conditioner. I never know how something will work with my hair until I try it and with John Frieda, I've had good and bad results in the past. Well, this one is a definite keeper, I'm adding it to my pile of shampoos and conditioners that have passed the test.

I have short hair that's growing out and I like to have some volume otherwise it looks a bit flat and limp. Not only did this conditioner give it good volume with a minimum of frizz, it also left it shiny and healthy looking. Not to mention it didn't get greasy any faster (I wash my hair every second day as recommended).

The smell is...well I can barely remember, which should tell you a lot. It's sweet, nondescript and doesn't linger. The results, however, will definitely make you stand up and take notice!
