not great

smells good. feels clean, but over drying. would not recommend for bleached or damaged or dyed hair. using a good conditioner over it tends to help a bit.

In love with this brand

OMG. Ever since I've started receiving John Frieda samples, I've been in love with this brand. No jokes, their "Brunette" collection does wonder to my hair. So obviously, it's always a pleasure to try their products.

The first thing I realized is how much product there is in the sample. I have long hair and not often do I get to enjoy the full extend of a sample. The texture of this shampoo feels like light jelly water. It foams SO fricking MUCH! Unbelievable. It smells really nice and my hair felt and looked amazing afterwards. I will definitely be looking to buy a full size bottle of this shampoo. So pleased.

Great volume adding shampoo/conditioner

I really liked this combo of products. I have thinner hair so jumped on the opportunity to try a product that might give it some life. I loved the smell! The shampoo lathered really nicely. I also found that the conditioner was easy to work through my hair and removed tangles. This was also true when I got out of the shower and ran a brush through my hair. The brush went through my strands very easily and did not get snagged on any tangles.

I would consider buying this product

This product has a nice subtle clean scent. The shampoo has a nice lather to it, The conditioner was like no other that I have used before. It is clear and watery to the touch. It left my hair rather tangled and required a lot of combing to get the tangles out after rinsing. Over all it did give my thin fine hair a note-able amount of volume.

First John Frieda Experience

I always heard of John Frieda, so when I saw the opportunity to tried it I did...Personally I was expecting more of the product and I am kind of disappointed. It leaves my hair with a sensation of dryness.
Maybe I just tried the wrong one for my type of hair, but I don't really recommended it to afro hair.

Reliable for soft hair

I used to use Brilliant Brunette by John Frieda and then I switched to this shampoo and I love it! I have soft, touchable hair and it makes a huge difference to my everyday appearance.

Drab hair to glam hair

My hair is usually frumpy. I started using John Freda Luxurious Volume and my hair feels like its transformed instantly. My hair is silky and smooth and has enough volume to satisfy me. It smells good too!

Sticky Hair

I recently had a chance to try this shampoo and conditioner pair and I was very dissapointed! I have long, very straight super fine hair - but tons of it. I was really hoping to add some volume, but all I got was hair that felt almost tacky and looked dull. Maybe heat processing would help this but who has the time!?

Great product.

This is the perfect product for people like myself who struggle controlling very fine hair. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair looking more full and much softer.

Great smell

I don't know if it added volume to my hair but I love the smell of this shampoo and my hair is usually softer and sillier after using it. I Would only get again if on sale because it was pricier than regular shampoos
