My new go to home dye

So with lockdown stopping me having my salon appointment so I decided to try this. WOW it did not disappoint. My hair looks like it has been coloured in the salon but for a fraction of the cost. So easy to use, cheap mad amazing results. Will definitely use again.

The only home hair colour I'll use

I've been using the extra light blonde colour of this hair dye for almost a decade now, after receiving a free sample to try. It's more expensive than many other brands but is so easy to apply and leaves my hair in fabulous condition every time. It doesn't have a horrid ammonia or peroxide smell and the colour holds well for a couple of months. I reapply when my roots become too obvious and my hair starts to dry out, it's a wonderful reset!

Easy to use

The foaming of the hair color is one of the easiest i have found to use. I only color my hair at home and having to get the little applicator brush and slowly go through all the hair to make sure you don't miss any spots is really tiring. With the foaming action of this is just like putting in a light shampoo. The wait time for the coloring is also a reasonable amount of time.

Hair dye

I do love this product but because i have stubborn grey hair it dont stay long on the grey hairs ,, iv always dyed my hair black n now days its hard to fund a dye that will hold

The only one I use!

I have been using this for a while now. I love it! I have orange undertones, and my hair has a tendancy to go brassy. NOT with this one! Colours are true, and it is so easy to apply, with nice even coverage.

Unfortunately does not do well on grey

It's a shame that this product doesn't cover grey's well, because the colour is very rich and beautiful (auburn shade). It's a dream to use, a thick mousse with no drips and one of the more pleasant smells I've smelled from a hair dye.

However, it just doesn't cover grey and white hair well at all. If you're younger, this could be right for you, but I started going grey at 20, so this is not the right product for me!

Mon amie m'a donné un traitement gratuit avec une boîte de John Frieda pour teindre mes bouts de cheveux en rouge foncé...J'ai bien aimé la couleur, c'est assez remarquable et ça reste quand même pendant un bon temps.

My natural hair color is medium brown, but I've been everything from a reddish brunette to a platinum bleach blonde. Most recently I had blonde highlights on my natural medium brown color, but I wanted a change. I decided to go dark. I chose this product, specifically shade 4BG Dark Chocolate Brown. I'm absolutely thrilled with my results!! I found the foam to be much easier to use than the normal hair dyes I've tried in the past. And the scent of this stuff, amazing! I loved how my hair turned out. The color was rich and right on what it was supposed to be, and my hair actually felt better after I colored it! It was so silly and soft and smelled great. I was very impressed with this product! Anytime I plan on coloring in the future, I'll definitely buy this brand! I love all the John Frieda products I've tried, and this one didn't disappoint either!!

I wasn't a fan of this hair colour. I bought it since John Frieda is usually great quality, but this dye just didn't do the trick. The foam was easy to put on my hair, but I didn't feel it coated it as fully as a normal creme dye, It also made me hair very brassy. I just was not impressed and never bought it again.

I recently tried this product and it was so easy to use. Foam is definitely less messy and gives more coverage. I will definitely be buying this again in the future
