John Frieda Precision Foam Hair Colour;
John Frieda is a little bit more expensive than other hair colors but I find they have such beautiful colors for all ages. Especially more younger age groups which cater the glistening glows, slight sparkle, "celebrity" inspired colors. :)
I like the foam, you can see it going everywhere and it is less messy and easier to control.
I was able to try the John Frieda Precision Foam Colour before I bought it. It was extremely easy to apply and the foam kept the colour in place once applied. No dripping, no mess! The results were even and consistent coverage of natural hair and colour-treated hair. The only draw-back was that it wasn't as effective on stubborn greys as it was on the rest of the hair, even when left on the additional time suggested for stubborn greys. I also noticed significant colour fade only 1-2 weeks after coloring.
This is my go to hair dye. The colour is amazing and long lasting. It will leave your hair feeling soft and full of shine. I would recommend this to my friends
Bought the foam dye on sale at Target. Worked great at getting overall coverage, instructions a bit wierd but overall worked great. Just highly recommend making sure you put cream around your hair line it stains pretty good!
Jon Freda home hair dye is great!!!! I am excited that it is available in foam and that it completely covers my grey areas. The dye seems to last longer than other dyes and they are available in a array of different color choices. The smell of the product is not overwhelming and it it very easy to apply. :)
Awesome product. would definitely buy again up my grey better than others i've tried
First time I used this product, I received a coupon in the mail for a free box! John Frieda Precision Foam Colour is AWESOME and covered every bit of the beginning of gray hair that was popping up at my roots. The foam makes coloring hair so much easier and less messy than some of the colors that still use the liquid. I loved the idea of using a foam color vs the other.
The hair color is a bit pricy, but the results from this color is worth it!
This dye is amazing! This was my first time doing my hair myself and it was incredibly easy. Typically I need 2 or 3 boxes of dye, which costs a lot, but with this I only needed one. The instructions were super simple, it smells sooooo good, and my hair feels healthier than it did before I dyed it. I was super messy and got the colour all over my neck and forehead, but it just wiped right off. The gloves that came with it were very good quality. Definitely worth the money and I will be using it again!
I really like this hair colour product. The best thing about it, it that it's so easy to use, that I could colour my hair by myself without assistance. The normal cream hair colouring products is difficult to apply evenly, especially the back of the head when doing it alone. With the foam hair colour, it's easy to apply, since the product is light weight and isn't thick. The colour results are great (though sometimes, if I rush and miss a spot of two, resulting in slight patchiness). The gloves they provide are great. Like seriously, most hair colouring boxes come with cheap flimsy plastic gloves that doesn't fit properly. John Frieda's comes with professional looking black rubber (?) gloves. The only slight downside is that there's limited shade collection in my opinion. I really hope they come out with more shades and various other colours in the future!
Based on the reviews I read here, I was eager to try Precision Foam Colour. I'll be honest that I don't really love foam colour products in general. I am used to using creams and never felt like I was getting adequate coverage. However, I found my shade on sale recently and picked up a couple of boxes.
John Frieda Precision Foam Colour is a fantastic product. Simply pour contents of one bottle into the bigger bottle and gently tip 3 times to mix. The box actually warns against mixing vigorously. This was often a concern I had with my usual product, since I would mix for a long time "just to be sure".
Applying it is easy, and best of all, this product probably has the most tolerable scent of ANY hair colour I have used before. Often the chemicals are so strong that my eyes start to water and I cough a little. "No pain, no gain", right? No longer true. Of course, I still had my bathroom fan running during application. Just because it doesn't smell toxic does not mean you want to breathe it in undiluted. But as a result of the more pleasant scent, my hair once rinsed and styled did not have that lingering chemical smell. It smelled more like fresh shampoo.
As far as colour goes, it works as well or better than my usual product. I have very thick and long hair, and was able to get away with only one bottle (although keep in mind that I was mainly touching up my root areas and refreshing the colour in my lengths. Had I been making a drastic change, I would certainly have needed 2 bottles, just like any other product).
Really like John Frieda Precision Foam Colour. Thanks for the recommendation, chicks!
