I have very dark hair so while it's not always very obvious whenever I dye my hair, the color still came out pretty decent and it became much more noticeable if I'm under a good light source. The color isn't too harsh either so when my hair grows back out, my natural colour and my dyed colour blend well together. Very good option for those who tend to be clumsy with the dye bottle
I love it...mess free and the end result is amazing hair! Doesn't get any better than that.
I LOVE John Frieda Precision Foam hair colour. It is so easy to use and the colour is great. It is long lasting. I've never had my hair coloured in a salon (way too expensive) and have always had trouble with "traditional" hair colour. It makes a huge mess and I always miss spots trying to do it myself. The foam colour is so easy to use. I've tried other brands foam hair colour as well, and John Frieda is by FAR the best.
I was hesitant about using a foam hair colour as I was used to using the traditional method but as I received a voucher, decided to give it a try. I am impressed by the no mess/no drip formula as I was used to clearing a space in my bathroom as part of my prep work. I am still working on getting all over coverage as there is a learning curve to it, but I an endeavouring to do so.
I love how the foam shows you exactly where you have applied the hair colour and there is no drip! I am now a convert from the traditional method to the foam!
I have been dying my hair for the last 15 years. As I have long hair (down to the waist) having the service done at hair salon was getting pricey and started dying it myself for the past few years. I have black hair and in order to have a tint of brown/blond, always buy the lighest blond shade in all brands. I always get reddish color result as I have lots of red pigmentation in my hair. Compared to all other foam hair dye product I have used, this product give the least tint of red. Price is slightly higher than other self dying products but compared to hair salon service, very reasonable
well i got a free sample so the price was great for me. the foam part is a bit different but in reality is kind of gimicky. it works and i'm happy with the results although nothing seems to do anything to those little white hairs i have here and there sigh. The black gloves were different too instead of the clear plastic. But it didn't have as strong a smell as some other brands and was easy to use and the results were great.
I never used to use boxed dyes on my hair. Growing up with a hairdresser grandmother, she would always buy dye at a beauty supply store along with peroxide. I now live on my own and realized it was a long time since I dyed my hair. I received a free product coupon for this and decided to give it a try. My hair is brunette with natural highlights. I used the Medium Golden Brown and ended up with a beautiful burgundy and brown tone, with some golden tones. My natural highlights dyed to be actual highlights and my hair did not go all one colour. It honestly looked like I got my hair done professionally because I have natural blonde highlights in my hair. I love this product and look forward to using it again!
I've recently received a coupon to try the new John Frieda precision foam hair colour
I tried the shade 5RV medium burgundy.
I was really surprised that the colour came out really nice as I am a brunette
The colour also came out even, and since I have very long hair I was so surprised that I only needed 1 box!
I received this product for free with the coupon,
regular price was around $13 and I've seen it at the drugstores for $15
I thin its pretty reasonable price, and sometimes when they do go on sale it's a way better price.
As much as I would have loved this product, it wasn't what I expected. The foam itself was nice but I didn't find it to covered very well. I colored with a dark chocolate brown but turned out black, which was ok but not what I wanted. The color did rinse out clear quicker then other brands and the conditioner left my hair nice and soft.
The first time that I ever dyed my hair, it was with John Frieda Precision foam colour. I have to say it was the easiest thing ever. Gone are the days of leaking dye and pungent smell. The foam stays on, doesn't trickle down, and the results are decent.
