Unfortunately does not do well on grey

It's a shame that this product doesn't cover grey's well, because the colour is very rich and beautiful (auburn shade). It's a dream to use, a thick mousse with no drips and one of the more pleasant smells I've smelled from a hair dye.

However, it just doesn't cover grey and white hair well at all. If you're younger, this could be right for you, but I started going grey at 20, so this is not the right product for me!

Today after extensive research, (reading reviews, watching online how to apply), etc. I decided to purchase and use the John Frieda Precision Foam color. I am not an individual who usually buys supermarket hair colors as I have mixed and colored my own hair for so many yrs (brand name professional permanent hair color /and developer 6%/20vol).

I carefully read the instructions provided about how to mix and apply John Frieda 5R Precision Foam color. This color wa s mixed as described, applied, however, I found it did not stay on my hair as a foam cover or as indicated on the instructions etc. Instead, I noted my hair became a wet mass on stingy pieces and needed to be covered in a hair net during the developing time.

I am very disappointed with this product as I am an individual who makes informative well-read and researched decisions especially with hair colors / care.

The packaging was amazing, and the gloves were hospital quality and black, which I though was interesting, but the colour faded way to quickly. I will stick to my tried and true nice and easy

I bought a box of this foam color dye in a red shade. My hair turned out looking brown more than anything. The only reason this box set was worth it was for the brilliant red shampoo attached to it. Thank goodness it was on clearance. Will never purchase this again.

it did not provide the color i wanted not even close, and the smell was horrible. I will not buy this product ever again its to expensive.
