Usually I use a different product; however, this time a friend convinced me to try this "for a change". She was right. It was easy to apply and provided the results for which I was seeking. I'm happy she steered me towards trying something new.

I liked this hair colour. It comes in a really nice shade of dark brown that leaves my hair feeling shiny and smooth. I also really liked the fact that in came in a foam- much easier to use! Also, I didn't mind the smell of this one!

This hair dye comes in a range of beautiful colors (I used Light Red Brown 6R) and to date is the most hassle free, best smelling and least drippy hair dye I've ever used. I love the foam, it's so much easier to apply than every other hair dye I've used.

So why isn't this product rated 5/5? For one simple reason. It doesn't cover grey or white hairs well. So frustrating. If they could fix that one tiny thing, I'd happily pay full price for this every time.

I used to use this all of the time, I think the price could be a little lower but it is John Frieda, so it will usually be a bit more than some other brands.

I love that it doesn't smell extremely strong and it was very effective on my roots.

I really like this hair colour product. The best thing about it, it that it's so easy to use, that I could colour my hair by myself without assistance. The normal cream hair colouring products is difficult to apply evenly, especially the back of the head when doing it alone. With the foam hair colour, it's easy to apply, since the product is light weight and isn't thick. The colour results are great (though sometimes, if I rush and miss a spot of two, resulting in slight patchiness). The gloves they provide are great. Like seriously, most hair colouring boxes come with cheap flimsy plastic gloves that doesn't fit properly. John Frieda's comes with professional looking black rubber (?) gloves. The only slight downside is that there's limited shade collection in my opinion. I really hope they come out with more shades and various other colours in the future!

This coloration is so easy to apply you cant miss a spot. It covers the grey great and have a wide variety of colors.

I tried the John Freida Hair Dye for the first time a couple months ago. I received a free product coupon in the mail and I thought Id give it a shot. Opening the box, I found black gloves that for perfect on my hands and are much more comfortable than other hair dyes I have tried. Once I followed the directions (which were very easy) I continued with the dye job. It was very simple to dye my hair and I barely got any on any other surfaces in the house, due to the foaming. The conditioner the dye comes with is amazing and makes your hair feel silly smooth. The conditioner also has an awesome scent like most John Freida products. After a moth of having my hair dyed, I found that the dye was fading quite a bit. I figured that for such a high price that stores well it for (even though mine was free), that it would last a bit longer. Would I buy the dye again? It is definitely a possibility, but the price is quite high and the "permanent" dye is not so permanent. Other than those two factors, it is a great product to try.

Love this product , easy to use and its really working.

I have very dark hair so while it's not always very obvious whenever I dye my hair, the color still came out pretty decent and it became much more noticeable if I'm under a good light source. The color isn't too harsh either so when my hair grows back out, my natural colour and my dyed colour blend well together. Very good option for those who tend to be clumsy with the dye bottle

I was hesitant about using a foam hair colour as I was used to using the traditional method but as I received a voucher, decided to give it a try. I am impressed by the no mess/no drip formula as I was used to clearing a space in my bathroom as part of my prep work. I am still working on getting all over coverage as there is a learning curve to it, but I an endeavouring to do so.

I love how the foam shows you exactly where you have applied the hair colour and there is no drip! I am now a convert from the traditional method to the foam!
