Great shampoo

I really liked this shampoo. It smells great and a little goes a long way. My greys and blonde are shiny and smooth. Works well with the conditioner as a set

A little disappointing

I think that the shampoo worked fine asa product, but I did not see as big of a reduction in brassiness as claimed on the bottle, which left me feeling disappointed in the product.
That said, I feel these products would work well as everyday products to maintain my colour if I used a more effective purple/silver product to strip the brass tones first.
The texture of the product was nice, the shampoo lathered easily. Wasn't wild about the scent of the products, I either like products to be unscented or sold as a specific scent, these didn't leave my hair spelling anything special.
I would be willing to buy these products again if they were between £1-4 as I feel I will need additional products to make my hair look the way I want it to look and feel, however I think they would work at maintaining products. I would not be willing to spend more that that as I do not feel these products delivered the full extent of their claims.
Whether I would recommend this product to a friend or family member would very much depend on the price, if they were reasonable, yes, if they were £5+ no as I feel there are more effective products out there for that price bracket.

Smells divine

Received this from chickadvisor to try for free.
I have been trying this out in conjunction with the matching conditioner (also from chickadvisor) for twelve days. I was using another brand of purple shampoo previous to using this.Love the packaging and it looks a premium product.It smells lovely plus I didn't need to use much on my shoulder length thick hair. Normally I would use three times as much living in a hard water area.My hair did feel dry afterwards though.With my usual shampoo I can forgo using conditioner.
I can't say I noticed a difference when my hair was dry but it did make the blonde bits brighter.I hadn't told anybody that I was testing a new product and nobody said anything about my hair looking different. I would say it's an average shampoo and I will be sticking to my usual purple (non shimmering)

Shimmer Like A Star

I was a little worried at first that this shampoo would make me look more grey-haired as I have platinum- silver coloured hair but I needn't have worried as the effect was fabulous! My hair felt soft and shiny and my whole head just shimmered in the light. The scent was pleasant and stayed on my hair for a long time. I would definitely buy it in the future.

Nice shampoo

I was really impressed with how nice the shampoo felt on my hair, definitely didnt need too much of it and it's lasted me so long! I've had loads of comments on how nice my hair looks since using this shampoo and conditioner.

I again love this product when used with the conditioner, my hair not only felt better, smelled better, it was so much brighter, shimmering even. It was a lovely feeling. I just wanted to keep moving it, touching it and shaking my head. I will definitely recommend it.

Superb shampoo, left my hair soft and manageable also with the added extra of toning yellowing in coloured hair... Highly recommended this product and will be recommending to my friends and family 👍👍👍

Great for grey hair

This shampoo is wonderful. I used it with the Shimmering silver conditioner and my coarse grey hair felt soft and lustres. It lathers very well and my hair felt really clean without having to put to much effort. it is safe to use with coloured treated hair. It made my hair shiny and healthy looking and my hair smelt absolutely gorgeous all day. I recommend this shampoo if you have grey hair and you want it to look lovely and feel soft to touch.

Brilliant Shampoo. I would definitely buy it.

I used the shampoo as directed, and the first thing I noticed was the lively smell. It created a lovely foam and rinsed out easily. I used it with the John Freida Shimmering Silver Conditioner. I didnt have to use my usual JF Frizz Ease Extra Strength Serum afterwards as my hair felt soft with no frizz.
I have a shoulder length bob, that has been dyed metallic purple for the last 2 years, but i decided to grow it out 2 months ago. My natural hair that is coming through is now white/silver.
The JF Simmering Silver HAS made my silver/white hair shimmery and bright! I love it! It blends in with my metallic purple!. I love the effect this product has made my hair, so I am going to buy lots of it. Many thanks to ChickAdvisor for allowing me to review this product.

Really pleased with result!

I had not tried this shampoo before - was curious to see how it would work! The colour was strange and did worry if I would end up with purple hair, but the shampoo felt very luxurious and a little went a long way. The scent was lovely and it was easy to rinse away.
