Really fantastic shampoo

I’ve tried a few silver hair shampoos since deciding to embrace my grey across the price spectrum and think this is the best one I’ve found so far. It’s a much less violent purple than others I’ve tried and the texture is much more like standard shampoos so I’ve been happy to see less of it just washing straight out of my hand. It lathers beautifully and smells good too.

I have very fine hair so some shampoos can be too heavy, this one makes my silver hairs shiny and smooth. Pairs really well with the conditioner to give me what I need in terms of easy haircare. A brilliant addition to a trusted range and priced competitively so I’ll no longer need to rely on ordering from specialist beauty sites online.

Absolutely gorgeous Shampoo

I got john freida Shimmering silver shampoo ,& Conditioner
I was a bit unsure at the time.
But I was very surprised at how this product left my hair feeling.
My hair was so shiny and soft I was very surprised but also very happy.
Not only does it leave your hair feeling soft shiny and youthful it smells great
This is my now number 1 products I will use and guys for all you silver fox ladies out their this is the product for you.

Not that shimmering and quite drying

I have been using this shampoo for about ten days and really cannot see any big difference in my hair shine. The shampoo is a pale purple colour and not as dense a purple/blue as the shampoos I have bought previously for blonde hair.

The shampoo lathers ok but I did need to use a good amount to get a lather and my hair is quite short. As I got two tubes of shampoo I had to use my own conditioner and I am sure the result would have been better had I had the conditioner that went with this shampoo.

I found that my hair which has a tendency to be dry became much drier using this shampoo and I had to use hair masks a couple of times during the ten days I used this shampoo.

I am not sure I would buy this shampoo again as I was a bit disappointed with te result n my hair.

Luxurious shampoo

Never used John Frieda products before, so this was testing new territory for me.
The first thing I noticed was that this product is purple and I was slightly concerned that by using this, it would be the equivalent of having a 'blue rinse' except that it would be a 'purple rinse' ! I needn't have worried, my hair didn't change colour.
The next thing I noticed was the text on the packaging - as you age, your eye sight isn't quite as good as it was. Often, when I'm washing my hair, I put my shampoo and conditioner 'in order', so they are used in the right order as often the text is too small for me to see which is which. The text on this product is a good size to be read easily when shampooing/conditioning.
The first time I used the shampoo, I squirted out far too much as it lathered up very easily, just like at the hairdressers. Only a small amount is needed to make a lather. The scent is lovely and rich and again smells like being at the hairdressers.

Ok so first time of using this product, I like the packaging, easy to open which is good for the older generation with arthritis maybe... i was loving the colour and the fact that it doesn't have an over powering smell to it.... only needed a small amount to produce a quick thick lather which washed away very easily with out leaving my hair feeling heavy..

Will definately buy this product again.

A light shampoo not heavy. Left my hair feeling light and soft. followed by conditioner is a perfect product to tone down harsh blonde, blends in grey and white hair just perfectly.

Lovely smell and glossy hair

The Shampoo has a good texture where it is not too thin to use. The smell is lovely and I feel it makes my hair smell lovely little longer than my old shampoo. I have grey hair for the autumn and it really helped with any brassy tones that was showing through.
It made my hair glossy and I even got people asking me how I got my hair to look so shiny!
I would recommend and the value is superb!

Dont hate it..but dont love it.

I expected big things from this product. But to be honest just like an everyday shampoo an Conditioner.john freida products are not cheap.so would I buy it again..not sure will try it a few more times before i decide.

Attractive packaging

Stunning packaging in silver & purple featuring a gem design. The product has a pleasant aroma & produced a satisfying lather. Unfortunately, it did not seem to enhance the colour of my hair but did leave my hair feeling soft when I used it with the conditioner.

I loved the fact I only need a little bit of this shampoo to my long thick hair. It didn’t dry my hair out which most shampoos do.i would 100% recommend worked amazing
