This product is rated a 7/10 for toxicity for babies. I used to use it on my son and yes, it smells nice and yes, it makes his skin soft, however it is actually not very good for them! Go natural :)
I know, it's a classic, but for my little Constance, it was not a good idea! She has eczema and after her bath, it was way worse! I'm a bit sad because I loved the smell and the price, but for my baby, it has to be fragrance free.
Good for babies with no skin problems, but not recommanded for kids with eczema.
I love the smell however i found that it was very harsh on my babys body. It left him with very dry skin (esp for everyday use). My baby also has very sensitive skin so this product did not work for us.
Leaves baby's hair and skin ( and mommy's hands) really dry. Smells good but hate the feel it leaves.
Yes, this is a house-hold name product, and yes it is very cost effective. However, after hearing recently that Johnson & Johnson's license was suspended for including fishy ingredients (cancer causing ones to be more accurate), I swore I would no longer purchase their baby products. I am very disappointed in the brand, and I am actively looking to purchase safer and more natural baby products from other companies from now on.
This product is very gentle so it is great for babies. I use this shampoo for the make up brushes too. As for my hair, I don't find it very effective.
i found with this johnson's baby shampoo it would make my sons scalp go all flakey, with the other johnson's shampoos it wasnt as bad only a little tiny bit, but with this one it would be his whole head that would go flakey.
