Best Conditioner!

This is the best conditioner on the market! You need very little of it and it makes my hair feel amazing and it smells great! I flat iron and curl my hair everyday and it helps with the heat damage!

Fabulous Everyday Conditioner!

The Protective Conditioner from the Defy Damage line is amazing. It is conditioning and helped to protect my colour without being heavy or leaving any residue behind. You only need to use a little product for effective conditioning!

This conditioner is so nourishing and I love the scent and how it leaves my hair. I love this repair line for my damaged hair. I would definitely recommend everyone to give this a try.

Can’t get over the smell!

This conditioner is pretty good, and does an effective job but I just can’t get past the smell unfortunately. Love Joico products but it’s far too floral for me so I won’t be purchasing it again.

So soft!!

This is the only conditioner I have found that genuinely leaves your hair feeling soft and nourished without the harsh greasy residue left over. My hair doesn’t feel waxy when I’m finished with this product and that is a huge bonus for me.

Disappointing Experience

I have had coloured hair consistently for over four years and across that time I've used a variety of different hair products, I've even used Joico on occasion, but this was one of the times that I knew after one week that this product wasn't for me.

I have thin, shoulder length dyed hair and after consistent bleaching, I find the ends of my hair can be rather dry, but I still tend to have greasier hair near my scalp. Knowing this, I used on a small amount of this product on my hair, mostly near the ends, but I found it to be hard to rinse out, and the product clung to my hair even after drying, leaving it greasy looking and feeling. I tested this product for over three weeks to see if this was just the transition period, but it never improved and my hair consistently looked and felt gross. I've never been happier to switch back to my old products.

Beware if you have an oily scalp and dry ends, this product may not work for you.

The scent...

I don’t know why, but I just couldn’t get over the scent of this conditioner. It smelled like dirt and didn’t quite fit with the scent of everything else in the line. Besides the scent, I felt it conditioned my hair but I can’t get past the scent to want to repurchase.

Produit efficace

Odeur agréable, texture crémeuse mais surtout il démêle bien mes cheveux. Je ne peux pas dire qu'il fonctionne mieux qu'un autre mais la combinaison du shampooing, revitalisant, protecteur et masque à l'occasion est sûrement la raison de l'amélioration notable de l'état de mes cheveux!

Moisturizing

This conditioner is quite moisturizing. I have very dry and damaged hair, so I thought it helped my hair texture. I like that it's targeted towards heat protection.

Didn't work for me

Unfortunately, I cannot give this product a positive review given I experienced uncomfortable irritation on my scalp after one use. While the product smells really good and made my hair feel really clean and soft, it just was unbearable and I had to stop using it. I can't speak to whether it helped to prolong my coloured hair, but it may work for you!
