Amazing!

i LOVE this shampoo, i recommend it to A Lot of my clients! not only does it do it’s job but it smells amazing! pair it with the defy damage conditioner and your hair with be feeling amazing!

Meh

I'm very picky with salon shampoos/conditioners as they do cost quite alot. It wasn't a bad shampoo. I didn't like the fact that your hair became Very greasy after 2 days of use. I bought this a couple times to give it a chance. Its definitely the shampoo being to oily that made me not like it

Loved the scent!

Fabulous shampoo for everyday use. My hair felt clean and lightweight. I also loved how lightly scented it was and cleansing but non drying. This will definitely be in my permanent hair care rotation.

cool shampoo

This is a great shampoo and I love Joico products. This line is such a great repair line. I love this shampoo and combining it with the conditioner is so great. I absolutely recommend everyone to try this.

Joico Defy Damage Shampoo

The first product in this line I was able to try! I was impressed by the smell and how manageable my hair was after just shampooing it :) It lathers and rinses easily so you can move straight to conditioner! Not sure how much it protected color or defied damage but it made my hair nice and smooth!

A pass for me

Likely personal preference but the smell was far too floral for me and overpowering so I won’t be repurchasing. Overall it was decently effective and I do love Joico products but because of the scent it’s a pass for me.

Good lather

I enjoyed this product to travel with. It was a good size and I got a good number of washes out of it. I can't tell if it protected against more heat damage but it was moisturizing.

So clean!

This shampoo is amazing. It leaves your hair feeling alive and well. You don’t get build up on your scalp from this product whatsoever! I highly recommend this shampoo.

Could barely work it through my hair

My hair: I've had coloured hair consistently for over four years and across that time I've used a variety of different hair products from salon and drug-store brands. My hair is thin, and while it's dry on the ends due to bleaching, it's greasier near the scalp so it's really important that my shampoo is able to clean and degrease my hair.

Unfortunately this product failed me repeatedly. This shampoo just would not clean my hair, no matter how many times I tried. With other shampoos I usually need to shampoo my hair twice, but with this one I even tried THREE TIMES and the shampoo could not lather enough to work through my hair, and I even found it making my hair sticky and hard to work through with my fingers. I tried this product for three weeks and saw absolutely no improvement and my hair just didn't adapt to it whatsoever. It felt greasy almost immediately after drying and got only worse over the next day or so.

Beware if you have an oily scalp and dry ends, this product may not work for you.

Woodsy but nice

I liken the smell of this shampoo to that of the Twilight line from bath and body works. A bit masculine and woodsy but still feminine. Shampoo smelled way better than conditioner and hair felt protected. Overall happy with the results.
