Unsure about this product

I wasn't sure what to expect when i got this product. My hair is naturally very thick, so I don't usually have an issue with having flat hair. I also don't style my hair often (If i do, its usually to straighten my curls). So I don't think this product is for me, but that is not to say that this is a bad product. I can see someone with thinner hair might benefit more from this product than me. The bottle is nice though. Very easy to spray into your hair

Not for my hair texture

This Joico Hair Shake Texturizer does not really work well with my hair texture. I have 4c chemically straightened hair and it turned my hair quite 'poofy'. I tried working it a few different ways but none of the end results looked good to me. I will be bringing it along to my next hair appointment to get a professional opinion.

For specific types of hair

This product did not work on my curly fine hair at all (when straightened). It was a bit stiff and did not do what I thought it would. My mom has very fine straight hair and it did help to give her a bit of volume and texture but not as dramatic as I would have expected.

Not an every day product

The Joico Hair Shake Liquid-to-powder Texturizing Finisher has a higher price point for not a lot of product. I also wouldn't use the finisher shake very often, only at the roots for special occasions or nights out when teasing my hair. Other than that I don't have much use for this product.

Not for me!

This product was not for me. I'm not sure what the effect as supposed to be, but I ended up having weighted, greasy hair afterwards. I think it would be useful for someone who doesn't mind having a lot of product in their hair.
