Does the job

I really liked this product and it’s ability to build texture and volume in my hair. Unfortunately because I have such thin hair I found that by the end of the day my hair felt a bit heavy. Will try again with less product!

Not for me

I think it would work great on straighter or finer hair but I have coarse textured hair already so I didn't notice a difference. I did not like the feeling the spray left on my hair, felt like the product was sitting on my hair. I did however love the scent!

Long Lasting

I have extremely fine hair and am always on the lookout for "volumizing" products. Just a few sprays really improved the volume, which lasted the entire day. I did find that it dried out my hair a bit, but not a big issue.

I got it free # joico hair shake liquid to powder powder I try it and it’s was not for my types of hair .you really don’t need to use a lot if you have short hair so this bottle will last a while.i would not but it because my hair don’t need it.

I don’t think this is the hair product for me

I use a lot of texturizing sprays and similar hair products and I just didn’t find this product to be right for my hair. I didn’t feel like it made my hair look better and it was difficult to control - my hair ended up feeling a bit crunchy. I think this would be good for people who have thinner hair and need a bit of volume but for me it made my hair look messy and unkempt - this might be good to use as more of a hair spray after styling but to create texture and waves I wasn’t a fan.

Love it

I'm not a huge fan of hair products. Because of my work, i usually just throw my hair up in a messy bun and it's good to go. But I do like this product, would highly recommend (:

Good for Adding Texture

I have thick hair so I don't always use texturing sprays. However, sometimes if I'm curling my hair I like to add a little texturing spray to make it look more like beach waves and not so perfect. The Joico Hair Shake is pretty good because it adds texture and hold which is great when I'm curling my hair. I'm sure it'll work great if you want to add texture for up do styles so I'm looking forward to trying it then as well!

It's ok

I don't mind this product and I can see the use for it when people have flat hair, but for me it wouldn't be worth it. My hair has volume already and I think this would go to waste if I was to purchase this. I would recommend it to people who do need it.

Volume Booster

This unique formula helped add volume to my thinning hair. I have long hair so it help pump up my roots. I can just imagine what it will do for short styles. I found it to be easy to use and lasted as long as I needed it to.

Easy and light

I like the size of the bottle, compact and travel friendly. I went to a wedding and wanted some nice beachy waves and ended up using this product to get some nice texture and volume. Its light weight, held up well and best of all doesn't give that wet look. My hair is very heavy so it doesn't usually hold by the end of the night, this helped my hair remain voluminous even those some waves were gone. I brought it in my small bag for touch ups just in case!
