Long Lasting

I have extremely fine hair and am always on the lookout for "volumizing" products. Just a few sprays really improved the volume, which lasted the entire day. I did find that it dried out my hair a bit, but not a big issue.

Gives impressive volume given size of bottle

When I received this product to try, I did a bit of research online to see how best to use this. After watching the video on Joico's site (https://www.joico.com/hair-care/hair-shake/) I tried this on my hair spraying throughout the roots and down towards the bottom of shoulder length hair. I was able to significant volume and texture - it's very much like a dry shampoo and texture hairspray in one. I also got my boyfriend to try it and he couldn't stop raving about it. Definitely would reco this product especially if you have fine to medium hair (I have fine hair).

Hello texture and volume!

I received this product to try and review from chickadvisor and Joico. I had heard many positive things about this miracle spray and I couldnt wait to try it for myself. I have long, naturally wavy, thick hair however the ends and roots always lack volume and texture. This product is a wet to dry formula that is best used on freshly blow dried hair. You spray it on in sections and use fingers to create desired volume and texture. This product definitely delivers! It took under 10 minutes to add the desired texture and volume to my hair with little effort. It also works great to help hold braids and twists in my hair! I absolutely love this spray and it's been added to my hair care collection. I will definitely continue to purchase this product and i would recommend others to give it a try! You wont be disappointed.

Volume... but not for long

I received this Texturizing Finisher in the goodie bag at the Cinq a Sept event with Chickadvior.

I was excited to try it out but I'm not sure I'm using it correctly! It says to spray on styled hair... so it is a setting spray or hairspray? But it's supposed to add volume so do I spray my roots and then style?

I admit, beyond a ponytail, I'm not the best at "doing" my hair. But I know it can use all the help in the volume department that it can get! So I sprayed my roots, teased a bit and styled. It seemed to work well at first but I don't think it lasted very long. Maybe it is the humid air this summer or my hair, but It was flat again very soon.

I think I need to experiment more with it to make it work for my hair type. But for now I can't recommend or decide that I will purchase this again.

Joico hair shake liquid to powder texturizing spray great

I got it free # joico hair shake liquid to powder powder I try it and it’s was not for my types of hair .you really don’t need to use a lot if you have short hair so this bottle will last a while.i would not but it because my hair don’t need it.

I don’t think this is the hair product for me

I use a lot of texturizing sprays and similar hair products and I just didn’t find this product to be right for my hair. I didn’t feel like it made my hair look better and it was difficult to control - my hair ended up feeling a bit crunchy. I think this would be good for people who have thinner hair and need a bit of volume but for me it made my hair look messy and unkempt - this might be good to use as more of a hair spray after styling but to create texture and waves I wasn’t a fan.

I'm not a huge fan of hair products. Because of my work, i usually just throw my hair up in a messy bun and it's good to go. But I do like this product, would highly recommend (:

Good for Adding Texture

I have thick hair so I don't always use texturing sprays. However, sometimes if I'm curling my hair I like to add a little texturing spray to make it look more like beach waves and not so perfect. The Joico Hair Shake is pretty good because it adds texture and hold which is great when I'm curling my hair. I'm sure it'll work great if you want to add texture for up do styles so I'm looking forward to trying it then as well!

Amazing!!

This is a great product for achieving volume and thickness in your hair without looking like you put a ton of product in it! I hate the feeling of hairspray or dry shampoo it makes my hair feel dirty and hard to brush, and not to mention the residue it leaves behind, I love the fact that this is super easy to use and it dosent leave your hair feeling gross!

It's ok

I don't mind this product and I can see the use for it when people have flat hair, but for me it wouldn't be worth it. My hair has volume already and I think this would go to waste if I was to purchase this. I would recommend it to people who do need it.
