Contains dimethicone = Avoid

Disclaimer: I received Joico Hydrasplash Hydrating Gelee Masque from ChickAdvisor to try in exchange for a review however, opinions are my own.

This product contains dimethicone, which will obviously soften your hair and provide some shine but it doesn't to nourish your hair as it is only sitting on the surface like a coat. I would say dimethicone is "bad" for your hair as it can attract dirt and make your hair feel heavier. It is also easily washable.

I would stick with Joico Hydrasplash Conditioner as it doesn't contain dimethicone and it made my hair feel softer, nourished and lighter. The gelee masque is not a necessity (I would personally avoid it) as their conditioner is effective enough and better for your hair!

Another silicone laden product

I’m actually really surprised by all these products and how they put the cheapest type of silicones in them and the ones that cause the most build up and will end up weighing down hair.

This product didn’t do anything a 2$ hair mask couldn’t do.

Not a fan of the scent.

I got this product because I do have a Joico hair mask that is actually great and doesn’t have these ingredients, it’s like they are regressing.

i think this gelee mask has way to much dimethicone in it which is not good for hair, i cant let my hair sit in a mask with be products, it ruins my natural hair.
