    Just ok

Price: 30 -ish cad (per ulta)

    Cruelty Free: nope :/

TLDR: go get the defy damage mask instead.

I received these products from chickadvisor for free.

    Packaging:
Very Cute, I really love the look of Joico products it always makes you feel like you are getting salon stuff.

    Product:
Like the other products in this line the fragrance is out of control. I've used this mask twice now once with all the products in the line and then once with my usual stuff. I will say i much prefer it with my stuff as the smell isn't over powering but I didn't see any dramatic differences. I was so disappointed as the mask from the defy damage line is so amazing.

The product is light weight and feels like butter going into your hair but it doesn't show any dramatic changes. I will continue to use it and update this if my opinion changes after using it for a couple weeks.

Skip This One From the Line

I was not a huge fan of using the Gelee mask from the Hydro Boost line. It's a total bummer because this was the one product I was looking forward to the most! I love a good hair mask and this one just felt....weird on my hair. The texture when applied looked like the conditioner but the feel in my hair was nothing like I ever felt before. It felt very weird, and my hair felt "streaky" after washed out. I would definitely skip this mask if you are used to hair masks that leave your hair feeling soft.

    Decent product

This product is nice! I don't think this mask is as hydrating as some cheaper drugstore options though. My hair doesn't feel extremely quenched by any means, but it works as well as a relatively hydrating conditioner, but for a hydrating mask, it doesn't quite do enough for my hair. I'm looking forward to using this up, this line was fun to try and I think used all together my hair is actually quite soft and shiny! Great brand, my hair is just extra needy.
