So hydrating!
This leave-in product is not sticky, thick, or too heavy for my hair. I run this through my damp hair and it instantly helps to moisturize it without making my hair greasy or heavy!
Weighless
This product is ok for wintertime as it probably would weigh down hair during summertime, depending on your hair texture/thickness.
Smell wasn’t too strong
Nice finish
I enjoyed using this product because it finished my hair off nicely. Using only the products in this line and allowing it to air dry I can say the leave in conditioner is good. It doesn’t weigh my hair down too much or cause my hair to stick to itself. My hair was soft and didn’t tangle like crazy which some leave-ins have done to me in the past.
A nice addition to the line
I don't normally use a hair treatment but as I had the rest of the line I decided I would try the whole process and god did it make a difference! It didn't add weight once my hair dried but it left this amazing smell and my hair were so easy to detangle!
The cherry on top of a great hair care regimen!
I received the JOICO HYDRASPLASH REPLENISHING LEAVE-IN for free from Chick Advisor, thank you. Hair is already soft from using the Shampoo and Conditioner, and this product is truly the cherry on top of a great haircare regimen. I have dry, damaged hair from colouring it, and it really softens it up and reduces frizz.
I wanted to like it
I wanted to start by saying I received this product free from Chick Advisor to sample and review.
Seeing how much I loved the other products in the HydraSplash line I really thought I was going to love this product too. Since I dye my hair often I try to avoid using heat styling products whenever I can so I typically let my hair air dry.
I currently use other leave-in products from Sephora so I used this instead of all the other ones. I didn't find that it managed frizz at all or made my hair easier to brush. It's been a while since I've seen my hair that frizzy. I also didn't think that it did much to make my hair softer or more manageable - but I used it with the HydraSplash Shampoo and Conditioner and those were much more effective.
The smell is great but it doesn't mean much to me if the product isn't effective.
An Okay Leave-In
The Joico Hydra Splash Leave-In comes in an easy to dispense pump, which I found very convenient and easy to use. The scent was rather mild, but left my hair smelling clean and fresh.
A small amount of product dispersed easily through my long, thick hair and didn't leave it looking oily or greasy, which can tend to be a problem with leave in's for me. I don't generally wash my hair every single day and second day hair can tend to look oily with many leave-ins. This one still left my hair looking clean and fresh.
That being said, I experienced some static when using this, which isn't usually a problem with my hair - especially when using a good conditioner. I found it a little odd. It did seem to calm down and not be a huge issue, but I don't think this was as conditioning as my hair needed in this dry weather. It felt like it was an average product.
Awesome Product!
HYDRA SPLASH REPLENISHING LEAVE-IN
I used this leave-in conditioner as a pre styling product after cleansing, conditioning and masque routine and it worked great. My hair wasn’t frizzy at all which is normally after wash, it felt soft, supple and shiny. It is a very light weight formula so it doesn’t make you hair look a greasy mess. I absolutely loved this product and will keep using it. I certainly got this product aa a gift for review purposes but I am in love with it.
Into it!
This product works amazing on taming the frizz in your hair and keeping it moisturized without that icky, sticky feeling!!! It's tough finding a lightweight product that works but this one definitely did the job for my fine, color-processed hair.
Spray me away!
It’s light and not heavy. I like how it doesn’t doesn’t way down my hair. It doesn’t make it greasy after leaving it in which is KEY!
Perfect for fine hair!!
