Was expecting more of a reconstructing conditioner.
I have very dry split ends so I was eager to try this Joico K-Pak reconstructing conditioner to see what it would do to my hair.
The conditioner works okay but I expected more of a high end reconstructing conditioner, I had to use more of the product on the tips of my hair and apply twice to get the desired effect, after rinsing all the product washed away (and I did not rinse it off that much).
I would probably not buy this again in the future since I prefer other brands that are cheaper and would do a better job with saving split ends.
Just okay
I was not wowed by this conditioner either. The scent is pleasant but average. I find this did not perform any better than drugstore conditioners and I actually prefer those over this. I did not notice any real improvement in my hair's texture or smoothness or softness, and I do have dry and split ends. I did not see any real "reconstruction" after 3 washes. So it is just average for me. I gave it to my mom and she loves it for her more heavily colour treated mature, thinning hair. I would not repurchase, but it's not bad.
Expensive but pretty good
This product is only okay. I’ve had other better conditioners from the drug store that do the same job for less price. However, you can sometimes get this at winners for cheap if you wanted to test it out.
Was just OKAY
The salon I get my hair done at uses JOICO as there product line for retail. I found the JOICO like 1 litre bottle at winners for half the price - 12.99 FYI!
The product itself was alright, did help treat my dry, over processed ombre and made it manageable.
Was it the best conditioner I've used ? nah
When applying in the shower and letting it sit for a few minutes did it give you that nice condition-eyyy feeling ? nah
Did it smell good ? just kinda
