Absolutely love this product! I switch my hair colour often and use this often to help rebuild my chemically treated hair. It smells amazing and works great to replace the missing protein from the hair. A little goes a long way! This is NOT conditioner so don't expect the same result, you should still use conditioner with this.

My friend gave me her bottle of Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor and I loved it. I have thick curly hair that gets damaged very easily from heat and styling products and I found this helped rejuvenate my hair.

I used the deep conditioner from this line, and I have to say I think it single handedly saved my hair from my 2012 bleach fiasco, it was terrible! This is a very rich product & it works very well at helping to repair the appearance of your hair making it much more manageable
Thankfully my problematic area's have grown out but I still continue to use this once every few weeks to keep my hair looking healthier

I tried this shampoo and conditioner and really liked it. The balance between conditioning and cleansing seemed to work very well for me. Many shampoos and conditioners cause scalp irritation but this combo worked very well for me. I recommend it.

Love the entire line of the K-PAK by Joico but this product is my fave.
I've done a lot of damage to my hair over the years and this product did save my hair from breaking off a lot and help it get healthy again. Deff worth the money!

I needed a protein treatment to use once a week on my hair, I read great reviews on this product so I thought i would give it a try, If your growing your hair this is a must it has helped with breakage and my ends look great. Now this is a protein treatment not a moisture treatment so very important to use a heavy conditioner to follow or this will make your hair feel dry and only use once a week to much protein can make your hair brittle.

Absolutely love Joico's reconstructing products. From all the hair colouring, bleaching etc I have done over the years, this is the only line that helps penetrate and keep my hair healthy. I have tried a lot of other brands that claimed to be nourishing, deep penetrating of the hair cuticle and they didn't do a thing for me. I highly recommend it if you colour you hair, especially bleaching. Just brings the porosity and structure right back down before processing. Even though It's pricey for being sold at drug stores, It's completely worth it.

wow !! i sure like joico k pak deep penetrating reconstructor .. my hair get done every 3 months with highlights ..so i been noticing my hair getting damage ..since i been using this product ..i see a huge differents ..splits ends are going.. dryness is going , my hair seems like it's more shining and silky then usually ..i would tell all my friends about this product

It's important to remember that Joico's K-Pak Reconstructor is NOT a deep conditioner, although the K-Pak line does have a hydrating deep conditioner that compliments this treatment very well, so you still need to use a conditioner after using this. Also, if you have virgin, healthy hair, this might have a bad effect on it-it is to repair damage.

With that said, I love this product! It's formulated with protein, which hair is made up of and loses a lot of with styling, heat damage, environment, chemical treatments etc. Because of it's high protein content, it should not be used too often, or it can have the opposite effect on hair and cause it to turn dry, brittle, and break. If used properly, this stuff works wonders! When my hair is really damaged, I use it once a week. When my hair is doing okay, I use it 1-2 times a month or when needed. It really helps repair the protein loss in the hair and bring it back to a healthier state. After even just one use, my hair feels a lot healthier and less dry and damaged.

I suggest using this once a week for really damaged hair, and follow it with a really good deep conditioner (I suggest Biotherm Ultra Hydrating Balm). Using good, SLS free shampoos and silicone free conditioners on a regular basis also helps with repairing damaged hair and keeping it as healthy as possible.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the price, but it's expected for a salon brand, it works really well, and you don't use a lot, so it's worth it. Joico actually just came out with a 10 year anniversary bottle (it was voted #1 amoung hair stylists 10 years in a row) and it's double the amount for the regular price, so I made sure to scoop that up!

I always color my hair and need a super conditioner to combat the damage caused from all the color. I use the Joico K-Pak deep penetrating reconstructor and don't have near as many concerns as most women who use color. My hair is silky and free of split ends. I don't have a lot of breakage and my hair doesn't get too dry as long as I use the k-pak. I can tell there's a big difference in the strength of my hair.
