This is about the size of a basketball. It's quite durable. The problem is, for smart dogs, this becomes extremely frustrating. Two of my dogs ended up having frustration meltdowns with cries. It's almost cruel.
My 3rd dog is a corgi cross and enjoys it, but because it's massive, and she can put her head in the holes. She doesn't quite "get" the concept of trying to get the ball out, so she's happy with it.
If you have an intelligent breed (lab, collie, etc), this toy is cruel.
If you want to see your dog suffer, I'd suggest this. I gave it the stars for durability, yet took away 2 due to it being unsuitable.
