Jolt is a Vancouver based company and creates these bars using dates (for sweetness), pea protein and caffeine from green tea. These bars are plant based, gluten free and soy free.

They currently have two flavour choices - hazelnut truffle and peanut butter brownie. both of these bars have a wonderful soft chewy texture with small textured pieces throughout.

My preffered choice is the hazelnut truffle and it reminds me of a freshly baked brownie. The peanut butter brownie had a nice flavour and I loved that the peanut butter taste wasn't overpowering. I loved the added caffeine in these bars as that extra "jolt" helps me power through my day.
